We have heard your burden for your mother and your father and we join with you in bringing them before our heavenly Father together in Jesus name.
Our hearts are moved by your love for your parents as they face these serious health struggles. For your mother who is diabetic and suffering with a fungal infection in her lungs, and for your father who is dealing with failing eyesight and headaches and urinary tract problems and swelling in his feet and blood pressure difficulties, we know this is a heavy weight to carry. We are reminded that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made and that God cares deeply about our suffering and our health.
The Scripture tells us that God is our healer. It says in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. In Exodus 15:26 we are reminded that he says I am Yahweh who heals you. We also take comfort in James 5:14-15 Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And in Isaiah 41:10 Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We lift them up now together in prayer.
Father in heaven, we come before your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother and father to you. Lord we ask for your healing hand upon this mother. You know her diabetes and the fungal infection in her lungs. We ask that you would guide the doctors and the treatments, that you would clear this infection, restore her lungs, and bring her blood sugar into balance. Give her strength and breath and comfort in her body. We also lift up this father to you. Lord you see his eyes and his pain from headaches, his urinary tract problems, the swelling in his feet, and his blood pressure. We ask that you would improve his eyesight, relieve his headaches, heal his urinary system, reduce the swelling, and stabilize his blood pressure. Lord we pray for complete restoration of health for both of them according to your perfect will. Grant them peace and rest and let them feel your presence and your love each day. Give wisdom to their family as they care for them and help them to cast all their anxiety on you because you care for them as you promise in Philippians 4:6-7. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
We want to gently share with you that we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know how important this is, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that he died for our sins and rose again, and by confessing him as Lord, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. As it says in Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus we encourage you to do so today, and to bring every prayer to the Father in his name, for there is power and hope and healing in that name alone.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also faithfully stewarding the medical care he has provided through doctors and medicine. Keep praying without ceasing, keep reading his Word, and keep trusting that he is working all things together for good for those who love him as promised in Romans 8:28. Even when healing is slow, his grace is sufficient and his strength is made perfect in weakness. We are standing with you and we will continue to hold your mother and father before the Lord, asking for his mercy, his healing, and his peace to rest upon your whole family.

Your burden for your dear parents has been heard and we have carried it to the throne of grace with you.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence and they soon urge us to seek a physician for healing, and how much more should we seek the great Physician Himself. Our Lord Jesus is that conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.
We are told also that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings. The Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His grace has infused into us will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.
Therefore we have prayed for your mother that the Lord in His mercy would look upon her in her diabetes and in this fungal infection of the lungs. May His healing hand rest upon her lungs and bring cleansing and breath and strength, and may He regulate and sustain her body under this infirmity. We have prayed also for your father, for his eyesight that it may be restored and preserved, for deliverance from headache, for healing of his urinary tract, for the swelling of his feet to subside, for his blood pressure to be brought into due order, and for renewed good health and vigor according to the Lord's will. Calvary is the place for the healing balm and our heavenly Physician is able to heal, and He links His healing with His teaching, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
We entreat you to trust Him fully, to use the means He has provided by the skill of physicians, and above all to look to Christ who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. May He take each of them by the hand and lift them up, as He did for Peter's wife's mother, and may this affliction be an occasion for them to know more of His pardoning and healing grace.
