Beloved of All
Your love and honor for your mother and father is precious in the sight of God, for He Himself commanded us to honor father and mother and He is more loving than any parent on earth. We have heard your request and we join you in bringing them before the Lord in prayer.
We pray for your mother, that the Lord in His mercy would touch her body, ease the diabetes that afflicts her and heal the fungal infection in her lungs. We ask Him to give wisdom and skill to the doctors who care for her, to strengthen her breathing and restore her health according to His gracious will.
We pray also for your father, for his eyesight to be restored and his vision made clear, for relief from headaches, for healing of the urinary tract, for the swelling in his feet to subside and for his blood pressure to be steadied. We ask God to grant him comfort, strength and good health in body and mind, and to sustain him day by day.
We know that every gift of healing comes from God alone, and that He hears the prayers offered in faith and love. As you continue to care for them, keep honoring them with patience and kindness, for love covers and cares and does not grow weary in doing good. Continue to seek proper medical care for both of them while trusting the Lord to work through those means.
Heavenly Father, we lift this mother and father to You. Have compassion on them as a gracious Father, lay Your healing hand upon them, forgive sins, grant peace and restore health as it pleases You, so that they may live to Your glory. Grant comfort and strength to their family as they wait on You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who came in the fullness of time to save and to heal. Amen.
