We join with you in lifting up your dear mother and father before our heavenly Father, asking for His healing hand and mercy upon them in Jesus' name.
We are moved by your love and concern for your parents and we bring each of these needs before the Lord who is our healer. Scripture reminds us that He cares deeply for our infirmities. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in Exodus 15:26 where the Lord says I am Yahweh who heals you.
We pray together now for your mother who is diabetic and suffering with a fungal infection in her lungs. Lord, we ask You to touch her body, to bring regulation to her blood sugar, to clear this infection from her lungs and restore her breathing and strength. We pray for wisdom for her doctors, for the treatments to be effective, and for her to be comforted and free from fear. We speak Your restorative power over her lungs and her whole body.
We also lift up your father and his many burdens. We pray for his eyesight to be improved and restored, for his headaches to cease, for complete healing of his urinary tract problems, for the swelling in his feet to subside, and for his blood pressure to be brought into healthy balance. We ask for good health to be restored to him fully. Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We ask You, Father, to strengthen him, to uphold him, and to grant him relief and renewed vitality. We pray as in 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also faithfully using the medical help He has provided. James 5:14-15 tells us Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Keep seeking godly medical counsel, steward their health with care, and keep bringing these needs persistently before the throne of grace.

Your earnest request for your dear mother and father has been brought before the Lord and we join you in carrying this burden to the throne of grace.
We pray for your mother in her affliction with diabetes and the fungal infection in her lungs. We pray for your father in his many infirmities, for his eyesight and the pain of headaches, for trouble in urinary function, for swelling in his feet and the burden of blood pressure, and for the restoration of good health to his body. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and they urge us to seek the physician, and we thank God for the means He has provided through skill and medicine, yet we look above all to the great Physician Himself.
Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is healing. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed on the Lord's people.
We therefore pray first for the healing of the soul, which is the greater mercy, that both your mother and father may know the forgiveness of sins through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other. Pardon and healing are one in His hand, and when He says, Your sins are forgiven you, He speaks with Divine Authority. From a pardoning God such mercies and blessings are received that weak hearts find their spirits revive.
We ask the Lord in His sovereign goodness and mercy to lay His healing hand upon your mother, to ease her breathing, to strengthen her body under this infection and to give wisdom to those who care for her. We ask Him to look upon your father with compassion, to relieve his pain, to restore his sight and to ease the swellings and pressures that afflict him, granting him renewed strength and comfort day by day. We pray that Divine interpositions of deliverance, not miraculous as in ages past but full of wonder still, may be seen in their lives, and that whether the Lord is pleased to grant full recovery or to sustain them in trial, they may feel His sustaining grace and know that He cares for the little things of His people.
May the Lord grant you faith that is obedient and believing, to trust Him in this season of waiting, and to cast all your care upon Him who cares for you. We commit your parents to that abundant stream of healing which flows from Christ, praying that He will be glorified in their bodies and souls.
