Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing the burden you carry for your mother and father. Your love and concern for them is clear, and it is a beautiful reflection of the loving home where parents care for one another and for their children, and children in turn care for their parents.
I join you in bringing both of them before the Lord. For your mother, I pray for healing from the diabetes and especially from the fungal infection in her lungs, that God would bring restoration and strength to her body and clear her lungs. For your father, I pray for his eyesight to improve, for relief from headaches, for healing of the urinary tract issues, for the swelling in his feet to go down, and for his blood pressure to be brought into a healthy balance. I pray for good health and renewed strength for both of them.
We come to God with confidence because there is power in the name of Jesus to heal. When Peter was asked how the lame man had been made whole, he answered that it was by the name of Jesus Christ that the man stood before them healthy. That same power is available today, and we ask for that healing work in your parents' bodies.
I also pray that through this difficult time, each of you will be drawn into a deeper personal knowledge of God's love and His ways. Our faith cannot be borrowed from our parents or our children, each of us must know the Lord for ourselves, and it is our privilege to share that knowledge and encourage one another to walk closely with Him. May His Spirit fill your hearts with peace, comfort and assurance as you trust Jesus Christ alone for salvation and for daily care. May you know the joy and blessing of a life committed to Him, and may He surround your family with His loving presence and healing grace.
