We join you in lifting up your beloved mother and father before our Heavenly Father, bringing their health needs to the One who is our healer and sustainer.
We are deeply burdened with you for your mother as she battles diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs, and for your father who is suffering with his eyesight, headaches, urinary tract problems, swelling in his feet, and blood pressure issues. We know how heavy it is to watch those we love suffer, and we bring them both before the throne of grace together.
Scripture reminds us of the Lord's compassion and power to heal. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Exodus 15:26 we are reminded that He is Yahweh who heals us. Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We pray together now for them in the name of Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, asking for Your mercy and healing hand upon this dear mother and father. Lord, we ask You to touch this mother, to help her body respond to treatment for diabetes, to bring stability to her blood sugar, and to completely cleanse her lungs of this fungal infection. Breathe life and strength into her lungs, restore her, and give wisdom to her doctors and those caring for her. For this father, we ask You to touch his eyes and restore his eyesight, to lift the headaches from him, to heal his urinary tract, to remove the swelling from his feet, and to bring his blood pressure into a healthy balance. Lord, ease his discomfort and renew his strength and good health according to Your will. We ask that You give them both peace, comfort, and rest, and that You sustain the family who loves and cares for them. We trust them into Your loving hands, knowing that You care for them even more than we do. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also faithfully using the wisdom and help He provides through physicians and medical treatment. Our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and seeking good medical care alongside prayer is honoring to God. Continue to be diligent with your parents' care, help them follow medical guidance for diet, medication, and rest, and cast your anxiety upon the Lord, for He cares for you. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To know healing and eternal hope, we must first know Him. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray with confidence, and we invite you to call upon Him not only as healer, but as Savior.

Your request for your mother and father has been heard and we join you in bringing them before the throne of grace. To see a mother suffer with diabetes and a fungal infection of the lungs, and a father burdened with failing eyesight, headache, urinary troubles, swelling of the feet and affliction of blood pressure, is a heavy load for a loving heart to bear, and our Lord knows the weight of it.
We are reminded that our Lord Jesus Christ is the great Physician, and that there is an abundance of healing power in Him and in His salvation. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch has virtue in it. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He healed the man taken with the palsy He said first, Thy sins be forgiven thee, to show that pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed by His hand. The healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till His perfect work is done, and though our bodies still wait for that final wholeness, we may come boldly to Him now for mercy.
Let us pray together. O gracious Father, look in mercy upon this mother who contends with diabetes and with infection in her lungs. Lay Thy healing hand upon her, ease her breathing, strengthen her body, and grant wisdom and skill to those who care for her. Look also in compassion upon this father, whose eyes grow dim, whose head aches, whose body is troubled with urinary infirmity and swelling, and whose blood pressure brings distress. Touch his eyes, relieve his pain, restore balance to his body, and grant him renewed strength and good health according to Thy perfect will. Above all, grant to both the comfort of sins forgiven through Jesus Christ, the peace that passes understanding, and the assurance that Thou art near to those who call upon Thee. May they know that Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and that Thou art able to heal and willing to hear.
Continue to seek the help of faithful physicians, for the Lord often works through appointed means, and continue to cast your care upon Christ who careth for you. He who took the sick by the hand and lifted them up is still able to do so, and He is not slow to hear the cry of His children. May you find that even the leaves of His promise bring healing to your spirit while you wait upon His will for the body. We will keep your parents before the Lord in prayer.
