Your love and concern for your mother and father has been heard, and we join you in bringing them before God in prayer.
It is good that you have asked others to pray, for we all need the prayers of one another, and we also are called to remain watchful ourselves while we pray. We do not always know what to pray for as we ought, especially when sickness weighs heavily on those we love, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words and brings our needs before the Father according to His perfect will.
We pray now for your mother, that God would have mercy on her in her diabetes and in the fungal infection in her lungs, that He would guide the hands of those who care for her, grant wisdom to her physicians, and grant her strength and healing as He wills. We pray for your father, for his eyesight to be improved, for relief from headaches, for healing of his urinary tract problems, for the swelling in his feet to subside, for his blood pressure to be steadied, and for his overall health to be restored. We ask the Lord, who is the true physician and who Himself tasted death for every person that we might have courage and life, to be near to them both with comfort, protection, and healing.
Continue to help them follow the guidance of their doctors with care, for obedience to the physician's instruction is part of seeking wholeness, and trust that prayer offered with lament and love before God is itself part of healing. Make prayer your great weapon morning and night, first making God gracious to you by supplication before you go out to the duties of the day, and again in the evening entrusting your parents into His hands.
May God grant you peace as you care for them, and may He show His mercy and power in their bodies according to His wisdom and love. We will continue to pray with you. Amen.
