We are joining together with you in prayer for your precious mother and father and we bring their health needs before our heavenly Father in Jesus' name.
We are moved by your love and concern for them and we know that our God sees their suffering and hears our prayers. He is the Lord who heals us and His compassion does not fail. We remember the promises of His word where it says Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3 and also But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to the truth that He is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and that nothing is too difficult for Him.
We lift up your mother to the Lord. We pray for her body as she battles diabetes and this fungal infection in her lungs. We ask our Father to touch her lungs and clear this infection completely, to strengthen her immune system, to help her breathing become easy and free, and to bring her blood sugar into healthy balance. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and for effectiveness in every treatment and medication, and that You Lord would guide her care and restore her strength day by day.
We also lift up your father to the Lord. We bring before You his eyesight and ask that You would improve his vision and protect his eyes from further decline. We pray against the headaches that trouble him and ask for relief and rest. We pray for healing in his urinary tract, that any infection or dysfunction would be cleansed and healed, for the swelling in his feet to subside, and for his blood pressure to be steadied and brought into a healthy range. We ask for Your healing hand upon his whole body, that You would renew his health and grant him comfort, energy and peace. We pray as James 5:15 reminds us that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also faithfully using the medical help He has provided. Doctors and medicine are gifts from God and we pray for discernment for you as you help care for your parents, for patience and for strength not to grow weary. We are reminded Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you and for your parents deeply.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly come to God for healing and forgiveness. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we ask for Your mercy and healing upon this dear mother and father. Touch the mother's lungs and remove every trace of fungal infection, regulate her blood sugar and restore her health. Your burden for your parents has been heard and we join you in bringing them before the throne of grace, where our Lord Jesus Christ is revealed as the great Physician.
We pray for your mother, that the Lord who has healing in His wings would be pleased to touch her body. We ask Him to give wisdom to those who care for her, to help in the management of her diabetes, and to bring healing to the fungal infection in her lungs. May she feel the virtue that flows from even the least thing about Christ, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and there is abundance of healing power in Jesus and His salvation.
We pray also for your father, for his eyesight, for relief from headache, for healing of his urinary tract, for the swelling in his feet to subside, and for his blood pressure to be steadied. We ask the Lord to restore him to good health and strength according to His merciful will, and to keep him in His care. As it is written, the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, when the Lord dwells among His people, and we pray that both your mother and father may know the presence of Christ very near to them in this season of affliction.
We encourage you to continue to seek faithful medical care for them while trusting the Lord who alone can heal both soul and body. Tell Him how sick they are and how much they need Him, for His ears hear the whisper of the soul. Healing and pardon flow together from the same hand, and there is enough in Christ for every need. Your love and concern for your mother and father is itself an honoring of them, and God delights to see children caring so deeply for their parents. The Scripture teaches us to honor father and mother, and it also reminds us that God loves us even more than the most loving parents love their children, so we can bring every need to Him with confidence.
I join you in prayer for your mother. I ask our merciful Lord, who has power to heal and to sustain, to touch her body, to help in her struggle with diabetes and to bring healing to the fungal infection in her lungs. May He give wisdom to the doctors who care for her, grant her strength and breath, and bring comfort and peace to her and to you as you wait on Him.
I also pray for your father. I ask God to be gracious to him and to ease the headaches, to improve his eyesight, to heal the urinary tract problems, to relieve the swelling in his feet and to bring his blood pressure into a healthy balance.
