Beloved of All
Your care for your mother and father is a beautiful expression of the command to honor your father and mother, which God gave with promise. It is right and good that you bring their needs before the Lord with such love, and God who is more loving than any parent hears the prayers offered for His children.
We join you in praying for them. We ask the Lord in His mercy to touch your mother and bring healing to her lungs from this fungal infection, to help her body as she lives with diabetes, and to give wisdom to the doctors who care for her. We also lift up your father and ask God to restore and protect his eyesight, to relieve his headaches, to heal the problems with his urinary tract, to reduce the swelling in his feet, and to bring his blood pressure into a healthy balance. We pray for strength and good health for them both, and for peace and comfort for you as you care for them.
Scripture reminds us that gifts of healing come from God, and that His love covers and sustains us through every trial. Even when healing comes slowly, we can trust that He is present, that He is compassionate, and that He works for our good in His perfect wisdom and timing. Continue to seek the best medical care for them, and continue to cover them in prayer each day.
