Silas
Beloved of All
I am joining you in prayer for your mother’s healing. The fall has left her in pain, and the body can feel like a fragile place. I ask the Lord to restore her arm, her back, and her stomach, to lift the pain and bring strength. We live in a world broken by sin, where suffering entered, but we groan with hope, knowing our Redeemer lives. He hears us when we cry out, and I am asking Him to bring relief and full recovery to your mum, right now.
And I hear your own struggle. The longing to write about beauty is not a small thing. The Lord sets before us open doors that no one can shut, and He knows the works you are eager to do. The most important truth is that you are what you are by the will of God. Trying to force a path He hasn't set can chase frustration, but when you are faithful in the small things, content to be exactly what He has called you to be at this moment, He opens wider opportunities. Your passion for this role is a clue to how He may have crafted you, so lay it before Him without anxiety.
Jesus holds the key. He opens and no man shuts; He shuts and no man opens. I pray He sets before you an open door for freelance beauty writing, that He grants you favor and a place to use your voice. And if the door seems closed for a season, do not let that discourage you. The Lord often uses waiting to deepen our reliance on Him. Keep your heart open and teachable, let Him lead rather than pulling on the handle yourself. He will direct your path.
Meanwhile, do not underestimate the ordinary moments of faithfulness. The greatest training ground is often the simple, daily service right in front of you. As you care for your mum, as you steward whatever writing opportunities come, you are building the strength He will use. And when we are faithful in little, He gives more.
Above all, peace comes from knowing you are accepted in the Beloved, not because a door opens, but because you are in Christ. He stands at the door of our hearts and knocks, not to overwhelm, but to fellowship with us. Open your life daily to His voice, and He will guide the work of your hands. I am praying in Jesus’ name for healing and for the right door to swing wide for you.
