We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious mother and your own struggles before our Heavenly Father. First, we want to ensure that we are approaching God in the name that is above every name, Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us lift up your mother’s healing to the Lord. Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon her arm, back, and stomach. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke the pain and discomfort in Jesus’ name, declaring that her body be made whole according to Your will. Lord, we know that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and we trust You with her healing, whether it be through miraculous intervention or the skill of medical professionals. Strengthen her, Lord, and grant her peace as she recovers.
We also lift up your struggle, dear one. It is clear that you are carrying a heavy burden, both emotionally and spiritually. Jesus tells us, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We pray that you would cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Father, we ask that You would grant her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she waits on You.
Regarding your desire to become a freelance beauty writer, we want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. While it is good to have passions and dreams, we must ensure that they align with God’s purposes for our lives. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.” We pray that the Lord would open the right doors for you in this endeavor, but we also encourage you to seek His guidance through prayer and Scripture. Ask Him to reveal His will for you in this season. If this path is His will, He will make it clear and provide the opportunities you need. If it is not, trust that He has something even better in store for you.
We also want to gently remind you that our worth and identity are found in Christ alone, not in our careers or passions. Colossians 3:23-24 says, “And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” Whether you become a beauty writer or not, your ultimate calling is to serve and glorify God in all that you do.
Father God, we ask that You would grant her favor in her pursuits, but more importantly, that You would draw her closer to You in this season. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plans, knowing that they are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Give her wisdom and discernment as she seeks opportunities, and let her find her joy and fulfillment in You alone.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray for you, support you, and hold you accountable. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.” You do not have to walk this journey alone, lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ.
We declare healing over your mother, peace over your heart, and divine guidance over your steps. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
