Humble Servant of All
Lord, please continue to heal my mum's arm, back and stomach after a fall. Please help her get rid of the pain. Please Lord also help me as I am struggling. I really want an opportunity of being a freelance beauty writer. Please pray for this. I am so passionate about this role. Please Lord open the door for my work.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious mother and your own struggles before our Heavenly Father. First, we want to ensure that we are approaching God in the name that is above every name, Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us lift up your mother’s healing to the Lord. Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon her arm, back, and stomach. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke the pain and discomfort in Jesus’ name, declaring that her body be made whole according to Your will. Lord, we know that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and we trust You with her healing, whether it be through miraculous intervention or the skill of medical professionals. Strengthen her, Lord, and grant her peace as she recovers.

We also lift up your struggle, dear one. It is clear that you are carrying a heavy burden, both emotionally and spiritually. Jesus tells us, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We pray that you would cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Father, we ask that You would grant her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she waits on You.

Regarding your desire to become a freelance beauty writer, we want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. While it is good to have passions and dreams, we must ensure that they align with God’s purposes for our lives. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.” We pray that the Lord would open the right doors for you in this endeavor, but we also encourage you to seek His guidance through prayer and Scripture. Ask Him to reveal His will for you in this season. If this path is His will, He will make it clear and provide the opportunities you need. If it is not, trust that He has something even better in store for you.

We also want to gently remind you that our worth and identity are found in Christ alone, not in our careers or passions. Colossians 3:23-24 says, “And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” Whether you become a beauty writer or not, your ultimate calling is to serve and glorify God in all that you do.

Father God, we ask that You would grant her favor in her pursuits, but more importantly, that You would draw her closer to You in this season. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plans, knowing that they are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Give her wisdom and discernment as she seeks opportunities, and let her find her joy and fulfillment in You alone.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray for you, support you, and hold you accountable. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.” You do not have to walk this journey alone, lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ.

We declare healing over your mother, peace over your heart, and divine guidance over your steps. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re holding you and your mum in prayer tonight. It’s a lot to carry, worry over her arm, back, and stomach after that fall, and the ache of wanting to use your gifts while you feel stuck. Thank you for sharing both.

For your mum, we join you in asking God to ease her pain and bring full healing. While we pray, please encourage her to stay in contact with a doctor if she hasn’t already, pain that lingers can need a professional’s attention, and that’s not a lack of faith; it’s simply wise care.

And we hear how much this freelance beauty writing means to you. That passion isn’t random. While you wait for the open door, could you take one small, concrete step this week? Maybe polish a sample piece, update a portfolio, or reach out to someone in the field for advice. It won’t force the door open, but it can give you a sense of moving with what God’s placed in your heart, and sometimes that helps ease the weight of the waiting.

Father, thank You that You see this family. Please calm the pain in Mum’s body and restore her arm, back, and stomach fully. Surround her with Your comfort. And for this one who is struggling, steady their spirit. Open the right doors for their writing in Your perfect timing, and give them patience and creativity along the way. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The tree of life bears leaves for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Lay hold upon the branch of promise for your dear mother, whose arm, back, and stomach ache from that dreadful fall. The same Lord who stood over Peter’s wife’s mother as she lay sick of a fever now stands near your mother’s bed. He need only touch her, and the pain will flee as a shadow before the rising sun. Cry out to Him with the importunity of the widow before the unjust judge, not because He is reluctant, but because faith grows bold through persevering prayer. Bring your mother’s case continually before the throne, and believe that the healing balm of Calvary is as potent for her body as for her soul.

Yet you also stagger under your own burden, longing for an open door into the work of a beauty writer. Your desire for honest labour is not to be despised, but examine whether you have placed this passion upon the altar before the Lord. The world promises a career of uninterrupted prosperity, lifting a person higher and higher until God is forgotten. But your extremity is God’s opportunity, and the end of yourself is the beginning of His working. Seek first the healing of your own spirit, for we all need the leaves of that tree to change our lifeblood and make our nature other than it was. When you are made whole, you will serve with gladness wherever He appoints, whether it be writing of outward adornment or testifying of the inward beauty of a redeemed soul. Healing must come before serving, and pardon before healing. Bring your passion captive to Christ, and if He chooses to open that door, you will enter it as one sent, not as one grasping. The power to heal and provide is conspicuously present when Christ is teaching, so sit at His feet and let His Word correct, comfort, and commission you. Then, whether the door swings wide or remains shut, you will glorify the name of the Lord who does all things well.

The body's pain is a stern teacher, but not one without purpose. When the flesh cries out, it can become a medicine for the soul, if we let it. I know that hearing of remedies in suffering may gall you, as I have said before, but such words are given to brace up our spirits and cast out the desires that beset us. Your mother's arm, back, and stomach ache after her fall, and you wish the pain removed. This is natural. Yet consider: is it not in our power to make even this seeming loss a gain? Give thanks to God even in the hospital bed, speak the words of Job, "The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away," and the trial becomes a treasure. Persevere in prayer for her, and do not grow weary when relief delays. God often lengthens out our supplication, permitting a trial to continue, that we may flee to Him and abide with Him. He is not deaf to your cry; He is contriving for you both to cling more tightly to His mercy.

Now, as for your own struggle and the desire to write of beauty, I see a door you wish opened. Understand that an open door in the Lord does not always bring immediate relief to our spirit. I myself, finding a great door opened for the Gospel, was yet distressed in soul because of a brother's absence. An opportunity from God may come wrapped in hardship, or remain closed for a season to test the metal of your passion. You say you are passionate about this role, but take care. The highest knowledge is not from human craft, but that which the Holy Ghost teaches in the heart. If this work is to be, God will not only open the door but also furnish the words. Continue in prayer. If you receive the opportunity, give thanks. If you do not, persevere that you may receive. His delay is not denial, but a drawing of your heart away from mere occupation and unto Himself. Let your first pursuit be the beauty of holiness, and all other things, if they be profitable, shall be added.
