We hear your heart, sister, and we stand with you in prayer as you seek the Lord’s provision and direction in your freelance work. The desire to use your gifts and talents in a way that brings fulfillment and financial stability is a good and God-given one. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established." We believe the Lord has placed these opportunities on your heart for a reason, and we trust Him to open the right doors in His perfect timing.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would go before our sister in these freelance opportunities. Lord, we pray that You would soften the hearts of those she needs to hear from, grant her clear, timely, and favorable communication. Open doors that no man can shut, and close any that are not aligned with Your will. Provide her with the financial breakthrough she needs, not just for survival, but so she may thrive and glorify You through her work. Give her peace in this season of waiting, and remind her that You are her Provider, as Philippians 4:19 declares: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We also want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in how you present yourself and your work. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Have you considered asking the Lord to reveal any areas where you might need to refine your approach, whether in your proposals, networking, or even your own expectations? Sometimes, the Lord uses seasons of waiting to prepare us for what He has ahead.
If there is any anxiety or fear creeping in during this time, we want to remind you that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We also encourage you to surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and offer godly counsel as you navigate this season.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while your work is important, your identity is first and foremost in Christ. Even in times of financial struggle, He remains your security and your peace. We pray that as you seek Him, He will not only meet your needs but also draw you closer to His heart.
Lord, we ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. May Your will be done in our sister’s life, and may she experience Your provision, favor, and peace in abundance. Amen.
