We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is suffering from a lung infection and feeling so unwell tonight. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand upon this dear one, bringing relief, strength, and restoration to their body.

Lord, Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You are able to heal and restore completely. We also remember the words of James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in faith, trusting that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will.

Father, we ask that You would give this dear one peace and comfort in the midst of their suffering. Surround them with Your presence, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in Your goodness, even when they don’t understand why they are going through this trial. We also pray for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers, that they would be guided by Your hand in providing the best possible care.

Lord, we rebuke this infection in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We command it to leave this body and declare that by His stripes, this one is healed. We speak life and health over every cell, every tissue, and every organ, believing that You are restoring them to full health. We thank You for the victory that is already ours through Christ Jesus, and we receive that victory now over this sickness.

We also want to gently remind this dear one that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If this one has not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We encourage them to turn to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, and find true healing for their soul as well as their body.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this prayer in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We trust in Your mercy and grace, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. Strengthen this dear one, bring them comfort, and restore them to full health according to Your perfect will. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

He loves you so much. He made you. You are his child. After you pray and give thanks, ask Him to heal you. He only wants you to get close to Him. Tell Him everything. He hears you.
