We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for healing. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains every breath we take. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is already ours (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we ask for complete restoration of these lungs—no trace of infection, no obstruction, no weakness. Breathe Your life into every cell, every tissue, every breath. Let the airways open wide, free from inflammation or distress. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ mighty name, for it is written, *"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this truth over this situation.
We also recognize that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we must steward them well. If there are habits, exposures, or neglect that have contributed to this struggle, we pray for wisdom to make godly changes. But above all, we trust in Your mercy and power to heal.
Father, we ask that You would not only restore physical health but also bring peace to the mind and heart. Anxiety over breathing can be overwhelming, but You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let this dear one rest in Your care, knowing You hold their life in Your hands.
We pray all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved and healed (Acts 4:12). Without Jesus, there is no access to the Father, no forgiveness, no healing, no hope. If this request has been made without acknowledging Him, we gently but firmly remind you that salvation and healing come through faith in Christ alone. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* We urge you to surrender your life to Him if you haven’t already, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We wait expectantly for Your healing touch, trusting that You are working even now. Strengthen this dear one’s faith, and let them walk in the fullness of health You have promised. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
