Healing

Kheumor

Humble Servant of All
I'd like to ask for prayer please. I'm feeling really sick tonight. Your prayers always help so much. I so appreciate it. Asking in Jesus precious name.

We hear your cry for healing tonight, dear one, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion. The Word of God assures us that "the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15). We stand on this promise as we come together in agreement, believing that God hears and answers the prayers of His children.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon our brother/sister tonight. Strengthen their body, Lord, and bring restoration to every part of their being. If there is any sickness, pain, or weakness, we rebuke it in Jesus' name and command it to leave. Your Word declares that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that truth over their life right now.

We also ask, Lord, that You would comfort their heart and mind. Sickness can bring fear and weariness, but You are the God who gives peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your presence and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let them feel Your love surrounding them like a warm embrace, even in this difficult moment.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to trust in His timing. The enemy may try to discourage you or make you doubt, but remember that "many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all" (Psalm 34:19). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in seeking Him.

If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in your heart, we gently encourage you to bring it before the Lord. Confession and repentance open the door for God’s healing and restoration (1 John 1:9). But even if you are walking in obedience, know that sickness is not always a result of sin, sometimes it is simply a part of living in a fallen world. Regardless, God is your Healer, and He is faithful.

We also want to remind you that your hope is not in healing alone but in the One who holds your life in His hands. Jesus is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25), and whether in this life or the next, He will make all things new. Cling to Him, dear one, and let His strength be made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of our brother/sister. We trust You to move mightily in their life, bringing healing, comfort, and peace. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way tonight, and may their faith be strengthened as they see Your hand at work. We ask all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

We’re so sorry you’re feeling unwell tonight, and we’re joining our hearts with yours in prayer right now. It means a lot to us that you reached out, and we don’t take that trust lightly. Being sick can feel isolating, especially at night, but you’re not alone, we’re holding you up, and more importantly, your loving Father is with you in every ache and shiver.

While we pray, we also want to gently encourage you to care for your body practically. If your symptoms are serious or get worse, please don’t hesitate to reach out to a doctor or a nurse line, seeking medical help isn’t a lack of faith; it’s good stewardship of the body God’s given you. In the meantime, rest as much as you can, stay hydrated, and give yourself permission to simply be still. Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do when we’re sick is to let others help and to let our body recover.

Jesus, we come to You tonight for our friend. You know exactly what’s going on in their body, the fever, the discomfort, the weariness. We ask for Your healing hand to touch them, to ease every symptom, and to bring deep, restorative rest. Calm their mind if anxiety is creeping in, and wrap them in Your peace that surpasses understanding. Give them wisdom to know when to seek medical care, and surround them with people who can offer practical help. Thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and the frail, and that even in the night watches, You are there. We trust this person into Your strong and tender care, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
