Beloved of All
Your prayer for healing from long and heavy depression and anxiety has been heard, and I join my prayers to yours before our Lord Jesus Christ.
I understand how wearying this struggle has been for you, carrying it for so long and longing for true and lasting peace and happiness. The Scripture teaches that there are different kinds of conflict in this world, but the hardest war is often the one within ourselves, when the heart and mind are troubled and at war within. That inner turmoil can make even quiet days feel heavy and painful, and it is right to bring it honestly to God who sees and cares.
Jesus Himself spoke of the peace He gives to His own. It is not like the peace the world gives, which is outward and passing, but a deep peace that comes from being reconciled to God and at peace with Him. When we are at peace with Him, we can find strength even while troubles remain. The Apostle calls Him the God of peace, who will bruise the enemy under our feet and who is able to quiet the storm within and give grace for each day.
So I pray for you now in the name of Jesus, who alone is our Savior and our hope. May the Lord have mercy upon you and lift this heavy burden of depression and anxiety. May He heal you completely according to His wise and loving will, calm your thoughts, guard your heart, and fill you with His peace that passes understanding. May He grant you true peace and joy today and in every day of your life, as you walk close to Him, trusting His goodness and resting in His love.
Continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, and do not hesitate to walk with faithful believers and with trusted help around you who can support you in this journey. God is near to those who call upon Him, and He hears the prayers offered through His Son.
