We hear your heart's cry and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, lifting up this long and heavy struggle with depression and anxiety. We know how exhausting it is to carry this burden day after day, and we want you to know that God sees you, He hears you, and He cares deeply for you.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. We are so thankful you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true healing and peace. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. Your faith in calling on His name is precious to God.
We want to encourage you that anxiety and depression are not a sign that God has abandoned you. Even great men and women in Scripture cried out in deep distress, yet God was their refuge. We are told to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. And we are reminded, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.
True peace and lasting happiness are not found in circumstances, but in Christ Himself. He says, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful, John 14:27. He also invites you, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28. We also cling to His promise, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one who has struggled for so long with deep depression and anxiety. Lord, You know the weight they have carried, the sleepless nights, the heavy thoughts, and the longing for relief. We ask You to perform Your miraculous healing work in their mind, heart, and body. Touch them with Your healing hand and lift this burden completely. Lord, replace anxiety with Your perfect peace, and depression with Your joy and hope. Fill every empty and hurting place with Your Holy Spirit and Your unfailing love. Help them to feel Your nearness today and every day throughout their life. Renew their mind through Your Word and guard their heart in Christ Jesus. Give them strength for each day, surround them with godly counsel and supportive community, and lead them to walk closely with You in prayer and in Scripture. Let them know without a doubt that nothing can separate them from Your love. We thank You that Your grace is sufficient and Your power is made perfect in weakness. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and our Peace. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to pour out your heart honestly to Him in prayer, to feed on His Word, and to stay connected to other believers who can walk with you and pray for you. If this heaviness persists, please also reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or medical professional for ongoing support while you continue to trust God for your complete healing. He is faithful and He will not leave you. Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence, Psalm 42:11. Keep hoping in Him, for His mercies are new every morning and He desires to give you true peace and joy in Christ as you walk with Him day by day.
