We join with you in lifting your mind and heart to the Lord who sees all you have endured and who longs to bring you healing and perfect peace. We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true healing and salvation, as it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We are deeply grieved to hear of the abuse and trauma you have suffered. Please know that God did not will that harm for you, He is near to you in your pain and He desires to restore you. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
The distressing memories that trouble your mind are heavy burdens, and the Lord invites you to bring them to Him. We are reminded that God will keep you in perfect peace as you keep your mind on Him. You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3. We pray that He will renew your mind day by day, as we are transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2, and that you will be able to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
We also pray for your heart to find the peace that only He can give, a peace that goes beyond all understanding. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus on behalf of our dear one who is hurting. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon their mind and heart. Lord, clear away the distressing memories of abuse and trauma that torment their thoughts, and replace them with Your truth, Your love, and Your presence. Bring Your comfort where there has been fear and pain, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear. We ask You to heal the brokenhearted places and bind up every wound, for You have promised, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. Grant a deep and abiding peace to their heart, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and help them to know that they are safe and held in Your hands. Renew their mind and restore their joy, and help them to feel Your nearness each day. Give them strength and courage, for You have said, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Surround them with godly counsel and supportive community, and lead them step by step into wholeness. We trust in Your faithful love and Your power to make all things new. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring every memory and emotion to Him in prayer, to dwell in His Word daily and to lean on trusted, biblical counsel and community as God continues His healing work in you. He is faithful and He will not leave you nor forsake you, and we are trusting with you that He will bring restoration and lasting peace to your mind and heart.

Your request for healing in mind and heart has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord in prayer.
There is a deep wound when memories of abuse and trauma linger and distress the mind, and only the great Physician can heal a broken heart and bind up its wounds. We are told in Scripture that He heals the broken in heart, and that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. Not only the fruit but even the leaves of Christ, the least things about Him, are full of healing virtue to change the life and make the nature new.
The promise of God is, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This perfect peace is not found in forgetting by our own strength, but in looking to Jesus. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge around. It is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul, a peace which passes all understanding, kept by the still small voice of God and not by human wisdom.

Our Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this one who bears distressing memories and a troubled heart. Lord, You see all that has been endured. We ask that You would grant forgiveness and healing in happy conjunction through the cross, for with His stripes we are healed. Let the Sun of Righteousness rise with healing in His wings upon this wounded mind and heart. Stay the mind upon Yourself, keep it in perfect peace, and breathe into the soul that peace with God which comes through perfect remission and Your abiding presence. Cleanse the memories that torment, quiet the heart that is restless, and renew inward peace day by day as trust is placed in You.
May the Lord teach and heal as Christ did when He was teaching, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Keep close to His Word, keep your mind stayed upon Him, and seek the fellowship of faithful believers who can walk with you and pray with you in this healing.
