Healing and peace

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for me and my family. Deliver us from evil and surround us with your peace. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing and peace for yourself and your family. It is comforting to know that you seek the Lord’s protection and deliverance from evil, and we join you in this prayer, standing on the promise found in Psalm 91:9-11, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."

The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, is a gift He freely gives to those who trust in Him. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We are encouraged by your faith in bringing these requests before the Lord, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that He hears and answers the prayers of His children.

Heavenly Father, we come before You as a united body of believers, lifting up this family to Your mighty hand. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them, body, mind, and spirit. Where there is sickness, bring restoration; where there is pain, bring comfort; and where there is fear, bring Your perfect peace. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your Word that says, "I am Yahweh who heals you" (Exodus 15:26).

Father, we also pray for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Deliver them from every scheme of the enemy, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be their refuge and strength.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the answered prayers we know are coming. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them experience Your peace that transcends all understanding. May they continue to seek You in all things, trusting that You work all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your heart and mind fixed on Him, and do not grow weary in praying and believing. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Walk in the confidence that His promises are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20), and that His healing and peace are already on the way.

We read your prayer and we’re joining you in it. It’s clear you know where to turn, straight to the Father. That’s a solid place to be.

When we ask for healing and peace, we don’t always know what that will look like, but we can rest in knowing God hears us and is at work, often in hidden ways. Right now, simply bringing your family before Him daily is a powerful act of trust. Don’t underestimate what happens when we keep showing up, even when circumstances don’t change right away.

If it helps, consider sharing this burden with a trusted friend or a small group from your church. Having others pray alongside you can lighten the load and remind you that you’re not facing this alone. Sometimes peace comes not as the removal of every trouble, but as a quiet confidence in the middle of it, the kind that holds you steady because you know the One who holds you.

Father, thank you for this dear one who asks for healing and protection. You know every need in their family. Surround them with your peace that passes understanding. Provide healing in body, mind, and spirit according to your will. Deliver them from evil and help them to sense your protective presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What a precious request you have sent up to the throne of grace, pleading for healing, protection, deliverance from evil, and the surrounding peace of God. Know this: the promise stands sure to every trusting heart, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee.” It is a peace, peace, a double portion, a heavenly calm that shines even in the midnight of this world of care. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace is a present possession, not a distant hope. You may enjoy it now, amid thronging duties and sorrows surging round, for to do the will of Jesus this is rest. Bear your anxieties with Him, and see if perfect peace does not wrap you about, even with loved ones far away, for in Jesus’ keeping we are safe, and they.

Your cry for deliverance from evil echoes the song of all the redeemed. He brought us forth from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Let no dark thought assail you, suggesting that your God has shut His ear; that arrow from the pit is a lie. Acquaint yourself with God, and be at peace. Meditate on His Law, and your leaf shall not wither; whatsoever you do shall prosper. The deliverance of the Lord is effectual, worked by His own outstretched arm, yet we must give our hearty consent and trust. If you are pressed down, remember that deliverance comes when the Lamb is slain. Look to Jesus upon the Cross, there is life in that look, healing in His wounds. The very leaves of that Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations; the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. It changes the life-blood, makes the nature other than it was before. And what of your request for healing for yourself and your house? The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction; where the Lord comes to dwell, the soul need not say, “I am sick,” for Jesus saith, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven thee.” Let that touch of personal faith be yours, trust God, and peace like a river shall follow, because your righteousness is Christ’s own imparted to you.

Go, then, from your closet, expecting that your heavenly Father has heard. He has delivered, He does deliver, and He will yet deliver. Your afflictions are but the Lord’s chastening, and He chasteneth whom He loveth. After the storm, what then? “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Use your deliverance for declaration; let your mouth be filled with gratitude. For did He not bring you forth, you would have no such song to sing. He has found a ransom; the clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour of your salvation. Hold your peace, and listen to Him who justifies you. The night is far spent; earth’s struggles soon shall cease, and Jesus calls us to heaven’s perfect peace. Until then, may the choice favor of the Lord rest upon the feeblest of His family. You are kept by the power of God, and no evil shall befall your dwelling, for He hath given His angels charge. God bless you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Peace is the very thing you ask for, and rightly, for there is nothing equal to this. Peace is the mother of all good things, the foundation of joy, and where this is wanting, everything is useless. But you must understand what sort of peace you seek and from whence it comes. There is a human peace that comes from avenging wrongs, from suffering no ill, from choosing comfort over truth, but this quickly dissolves and is no advantage. This is not the peace I would have you pursue. What you must seek is the peace of God, which is fixed and steadfast, and which Christ Himself left to His disciples when He said, "My peace I give unto you." This peace is not like that of the world, which is often mischievous and unprofitable. The peace He gives renders you stronger, for it is peace with Him, a reconciliation where earth becomes heaven.

Now know that this peace is not always found in the absence of conflict, for I am not come to send a false peace. Sometimes when the diseased part is cut off and the mutinous element is removed, then true peace comes to the rest of the body. The physician preserves the body by amputating the incurable part, and thus heaven is united to earth. When you pray for deliverance from evil, know that the very act of warring against sin within your own heart, of setting aside softness, remissness, and carelessness in hearing the word, is itself the path to peace. It is not enough merely to be free from one vice; you must cultivate all parts of virtue: a careful hearing of the word, a continual recollection, fortitude, contempt of worldly things. If two thoughts fight within you, one bidding revenge and the other endurance, let not anger or spite hold the prize. Let the peace of God stand as umpire, and it will bestow the victory on that which endures, persuading you that God is Peace and has made peace with you freely, of His own will.

You pray for your family, for protection. Rightly so, for the makers of peace are called the sons of God. See that you cultivate this peace among yourselves, for when you war against a brother, you war against the members of Christ. What if he be an outcast or open to contempt? It is not the will of the Father that one of these little ones should perish. For the sake of each believer, angels behold the face of the Father. Do not despise the majestic usages of the Church where we say “Peace unto all” so many times, but let it be a truth in your hearts, not merely a form of words. When you give thanks for what the Father does, you echo the angels who at His birth proclaimed, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will to men.” That good will is reconciliation itself; the wall of partition is torn down. In the prayers, in the supplications, in the salutations, we ask for the Angel of peace. Let this peace rule in your hearts.

Above all, follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord. The dove that appeared with the olive branch long ago published the good tidings of a common calm for the whole world, but now the Holy Spirit, that Spirit of meekness appearing in the same fashion, points us to our Deliverer from all evils. He brings us, not a mere branch, but adoption as sons, leading the whole world up into heaven. So pursue this peace and holiness, that you may see the Lord and be surrounded by that steadfast peace which is from above, a peace not as the world gives, but as Christ bestows.
