God help a boy with his class

We join you in lifting up this boy and his class before the Lord, asking for God's help, wisdom and grace over all that concerns him in his studies and in his classroom.

We are encouraged that God cares deeply for children and for every detail of our lives, including schoolwork and relationships with teachers and classmates. We pray that this boy will know that God is near and ready to help when he feels overwhelmed, confused or pressured. The Lord promises wisdom to those who ask, for it is written, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We also remember the call to do all things for His glory, And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23, and the promise that when we bring our anxieties to Him, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.

We notice your request mentions God but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we gently want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And we are told There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought into relationship with God, and our prayers are heard in His name.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we bring this boy before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would grant him clarity of mind, understanding in his lessons, diligence in his work, and peace in his heart. Help him to commit his deeds to You so that his plans shall succeed according to Your will. Proverbs 16:3. Guard him from discouragement and fear, help him to be kind and respectful to his teachers and classmates, and let his classroom be a place of learning and encouragement. We ask that You would also strengthen those who teach and support him, and that You would draw this boy closer to You, that he may know Your love and walk in Your truth. We entrust him to Your care and seek Your perfect will for his life, praying all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and hope. Amen.

Thank you for caring enough to lift this boy up to the Lord. It means a lot that you noticed his struggle with his class and brought it to prayer.

School can weigh heavily on a young heart, especially when he wants to do well and feels stuck. We want him to know God sees him in these ordinary, everyday pressures and cares about his effort and his peace as much as his grades.

We are joining you in asking God to give him clarity as he studies, calm when he feels overwhelmed, and kind support around him. If you know him personally, one simple way to help is to let him know you are praying for him and ask what part of class feels hardest right now. Sometimes just naming it out loud and knowing someone is in his corner makes it easier to ask a teacher or parent for the next bit of help he needs.

Father, we bring this boy to You and ask You to be near to him in his classroom. Give him understanding where he is confused, steadiness where he feels anxious, and encouragement through people who can walk with him day by day. Guide those who teach and care for him to know how best to help. We trust him to Your loving care in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your earnest and twice repeated cry has been heard among us and we have carried it to the throne of grace, for we know that if the Lord does not help, where can we find help, whether from threshing floor or winepress. There is no help for a boy or for his class except it come from the Lord who made heaven and earth, and He is ready to help those who seek Him.

We pray for this boy that the Lord will put him to school with God Himself, and teach him to do the will of God, for Thou art his God. It is a blessed prayer, Teach me to do Thy will. Not only to talk about it or hear about it, but to do as Thy Word bids him, to take his stand and say, As for me, I will serve the Lord. May the Holy Spirit be upon him, whether he prays or sings or speaks to others of the Saviour, that he may do all in the Spirit and not in his own strength.

If he be a teacher set over a class, we remind him that his office is a stewardship. He preaches to his class and must give an account for those souls. Let him gather his class not by fear but by love, with the cords of love and the bands of a man, for so Christ gathers His lambs. Let him grow himself if he would have his class grow, and let him be faithful in studying the lesson and wrestling in prayer for each boy and girl by name. The Master counts it faithful service when we seek the most untaught and wayward, and He can make a boy in that class to become the spiritual father of many.

If he be a scholar among his fellows, we pray that he may be kept from harm by doing no ill, and that he may be a help to others. For it is written, helps, and every one of us may say, I cannot do much, but I can help. Would he acquire knowledge, would he shake off despondency, would he grow in grace, let him help others and point his companions to the Saviour.

We have asked the great Lord to cast out every evil influence and to get to Himself the victory in that classroom, to the praise of the glory of His grace. May the Lord help this boy to be a mighty wrestler in prayer and then a prevailing prince, and may He bless the whole class with truthful dealing with God, confession of sin, and practical love one to another, which are the marks of those who have eternal life in Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for this boy and his class has been heard and we join you in bringing it before God. We thank you for your care in asking for him.

God hears persistent prayer and desires us to come to Him often for those we love. Even when our words are simple or repeated, He welcomes our asking and delights to help. He would rather be sought by us for those who belong to us than that we remain silent.

We pray for this boy now. Heavenly Father, we ask You to help this boy in his class. Give him a clear mind, a willing heart to learn, and strength to persevere. Help him to master what is set before him step by step, as a student masters his first lessons before going on to more. Grant his teachers wisdom and patience, and give him kindness toward his classmates. Form in him virtues that will last beyond the classroom, such as diligence, humility, forbearance and honesty, learned little by little each day until they become habit. Keep him in Your mercy and guide him in the way that leads to life through Jesus Christ.

We encourage you to continue praying for him with confidence, and to encourage him also to do his part with faithfulness. As a laborer works his field portion by portion, so let him give himself to his studies and to good character one step at a time, guarding what he has already learned while reaching for more. God can use both your prayers and his diligence for good.

We will continue to remember him before the Lord.
