We rejoice with you in this beautiful outpouring of thanksgiving and intercession and we join you in lifting all of these people and burdens before the throne of grace in Jesus' name. Your heart that loves without restraint reflects the love God has poured into you, and your shift from fixation on lack to rejoicing in His blessings is a mark of spiritual growth. We give thanks with you that Jesus enters your soul daily and that you are blessed spiritually, for every good gift comes from the Father.
We are encouraged by your desire for a deep, connected, close knit circle of friends like family and for a loving wife to be equally yoked. This aligns with the heart of God. Scripture teaches us Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14. We affirm your desire for marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, as it is written Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh Genesis 2:24. We pray you will continue to pursue courtship with the goal of godly marriage to a believing woman, guarding purity and seeking a spouse who loves the Lord first, and we pray your friendships will also be built on Christ. A friend loves at all times Proverbs 17:17 and a man who has friends must show himself friendly, and there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother Proverbs 18:24.
We also lift up your prayer for excellent health in mind, body, soul, and spirit. We pray as it is written Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2, and that you will be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2, trusting the Lord to strengthen you in every part.
Your prayer for your enemies to find Jesus is so pleasing to God, for He commands us But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. We join you in praying that those who are unsure of you will see Christ within you, that your light will so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven Matthew 5:16.
We bring before the Lord all those you have named. We pray for your parents, your landlord and friend, your neighbors who lost their homes in fires that God will comfort and restore them, for your managers and that safe loving work environment, and for your career that God will continue to guide you in His purpose even as you desire change. We pray you will trust Him to direct your steps and to use you to help others where you are. We pray for your trainer, that God will help her with anger and teach her to be angry, and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil Ephesians 4:26-27, and that she will know the love of Christ in her struggles. We pray for your new book club friend that she will be open to the Lord's love and be guarded and cared for in her difficulties with that man, seeking relationships that honor God in purity and holiness. We pray for the woman who lost her job that God will provide for her and open doors. We pray for your dear friend and her husband with their new baby, that God will grant them rest, peace, and unity, and help them to be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32, and to cease from arguing. We pray for safe travel for your friend returning to the USA, for your brother's health to improve, for your niece to find peace after her resignation, and for your nephew and his wife that God will guide them into peace and away from drunkenness, for it is written Do not be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit Ephesians 5:18. We pray your clients today will receive relief from pain according to God's mercy, for the kind gym owner, for all your coworkers in every department that they will feel the love of Christ through you, and for all who have prayed for you and for all who suffer worldwide calling out through Jesus.
We thank God with you for your repentant heart in confessing that you were fixated on what you wanted and on negative aspects rather than blessings. God is faithful to forgive and to teach us faith, and we praise Him that you now rejoice. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to Your throne Acts 4:12, John 14:6. We thank You for this brother's tender and interceding heart and for the work You have done to turn his eyes from lack to Your beauty and abundance. Forgive him for that season of fixation and continue to renew his faith. Grant him deep, godly friendships and, in Your perfect timing, a loving Christian wife to be equally yoked with him in a holy marriage that honors You all his days. Strengthen him in excellent health in mind, body, soul and spirit. Pour out Your salvation upon his enemies, let those who doubt him see Jesus in him, and bless all those he loves. Comfort his parents, his landlord, his neighbors who have suffered loss, his managers and coworkers, his trainer and his book club friend, the woman without work, his friends with the new baby, his traveling friend, his brother, his niece, his nephew and his wife, his clients, his gym owner, and every suffering soul crying out to You. Provide, heal, restore, convict, and draw each one closer to Jesus. Let Your will be done in his career and use him mightily to help others. May Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.
