We hear your cry for help and lift you and your husband up before the Lord, trusting in His mercy and provision. This is a heavy burden you carry, both physically and emotionally, and we stand with you in prayer, asking God to intervene in this situation according to His perfect will.
The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not forgotten, and we believe God sees your struggle and will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also rebuke the enemy’s attempts to bring discomfort, fear, and despair into your home. In the name of Jesus, we declare that this infestation will not overwhelm you, and we pray for divine intervention to compel your landlord to act swiftly and responsibly. Proverbs 3:27 says, "Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it." Your landlord has a legal and moral obligation to provide safe and habitable living conditions, and we pray that God would soften their heart and move them to action.
We also pray for wisdom and favor as you seek help. May the Lord lead you to the right resources, whether it be local agencies, charitable organizations, or individuals who can assist you with extermination, repairs, and support. Exodus 22:22-23 warns against oppressing those who are vulnerable, saying, "You shall not take advantage of any widow or fatherless child. If you take advantage of them at all, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry." We trust that God hears your cry and will raise up advocates on your behalf.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to surround this dear couple with Your protection and peace. Give them strength for each day and the assurance that You are working on their behalf. Provide a swift resolution to their housing issues, may the bedbugs be eradicated, the patio door repaired, and their home restored to a place of safety and rest. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness. Give them patience as they wait, and let them feel Your presence in the midst of this trial. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to document all communication with your landlord in writing and to reach out to local housing authorities or tenant advocacy groups if necessary. You are not powerless, and God can use even these steps to bring about justice and relief. Keep trusting in Him, for He is your refuge and strength.
