We rejoice in your desire to seek the Lord’s wisdom and grace as you prepare to meet with your brother in Christ. The Scriptures remind us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). How beautiful it is when believers come together in unity, sharpening one another as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), and encouraging each other in the faith.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, asking that You would indeed grant wisdom and grace to our brother as he meets with his fellow servant in Christ. May Your Holy Spirit guide their conversation, filling their words with truth, love, and edification. Let this time together bear fruit for Your Kingdom, whether in encouragement, correction, or mutual growth in godliness. Strengthen their bond as brothers in Christ, that their friendship may reflect the love and unity You desire among Your people. We have heard your request and we join you in prayer before the throne of grace for this meeting with your brother in the Lord.
We ask the Lord to give you wisdom and grace in abundance, for wisdom is freely given to those who ask of God, and grace is the provision by which we both receive and understand His gifts. As we have often said, the whole road from sin's pit to Heaven's gate is paved with Divine Grace, and it is by that same grace that you may be made a blessing to another. May the Lord keep you from the foolish task of assisting Omnipotence in your own strength, and instead cause you to rest in His sovereign grace which works all things well.
We pray that God will guide and govern this conversation, that His providence which is the wheel and His grace which is the hand that turns it, will direct every word spoken. May reigning grace preside over your fellowship, keeping watch over your hearts and lips, so that what is said may be seasoned with love and truth.
We ask that this meeting will indeed bear fruit for the Kingdom of God, for where sin abounded grace did much more abound, and where grace abounds good becomes perceptible and hope begins.
