Beloved of All
We join you in prayer before the Lord for your older daughter and for your whole family, and we thank you for sharing this burden so openly.
We agree with you in asking God for freedom, protection, restoration and healing. Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with sexual union and living together belonging within that covenant. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and we will not ask God to bless what He calls outside His design. Instead we ask Him to bring clear sight, conviction, and deliverance.
We pray that the Lord will flood your daughter's mind with supernatural clarity tonight. May she see that exhaustion, financial hardship, division, isolation and chaos are not love, and that greed, laziness, control, dishonesty and manipulation can never be mistaken for love. We pray she will recognize that she is being used and not cherished, and that no person has the right to exploit her finances, steal her peace, or take authority that belongs to God alone. We ask Jesus to open her eyes, heart and spirit, to remind her of the biblical values she was raised with, and to give her courage and wisdom to release herself swiftly and completely from this toxic and ungodly living arrangement, without idolizing this young man or his mother and without putting them before her faith, her God given family, and the purposeful work God has given her.
We pray as you have declared, that she belongs to the Lord and that He will protect her with His power. As faith made the daughter whole in the Gospels, we ask that her faith be restored and strengthened, that she will hear the Lord whisper to trust Him and to trust the family He has placed around her, and that He will provide for, protect and restore what has been taken. We ask God to guide her to walk away, to return home if that is the wise and safe step, with no regret, and to recover her freedom, independence, self worth, peace, and joyful fellowship with her loved ones.
We also pray for your family tonight and in the days ahead. May the Lord fill each of you with His Holy Spirit, saturate your home with His peace, love, favor, protection, respect and healing, and guard your unity from further spiritual attack and division. May He heal weariness, restore what has been strained, and keep you all walking in orderliness and grace.
We will continue to stand with you, asking God to do what only Christ can do, to deliver from evil and to bring the good gift of adoption and new life, and to grant your daughter a better and lasting hope as she turns fully to Him. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
