Beloved of All
Please pray that my sweet older daughter will have the courage and wisdom to release herself swiftly and completely from this toxic relationship. Let her see clearly tonight that the exhaustion, financial hardship, spiritual attacks, division, isolation and exclusion is coming from this relationship. I declaring right now that this young man and his mother will not steal independent, self worth, her peace, her purpose, her fellowship time with her love ones or her unity with her family. The Lord is saying, “She is Mine. She is My daughter. She belongs to Me, and I will protect her with every ounce of My power.” Please continue to join me in speaking to my older daughter’s mind, heart, and spirit, open her eyes, Jesus. She is not being loved; she is being used. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage. He is not her significant other, she does not belong to him, she should not idolize, obey this young man or put him and his family before her faith, Your God-giving family and job with a purpose. This man’s greed, laziness, control, dishonesty and manipulation are not love, he does not have the right to exploit her finances for his selfish benefit, take authority over his life and his lifestyle is not a home. Let her see the spiritual attacks she and our family are under due to this relationship. The division, isolation, chaos, ungratefulness, disrespect and exhaustion this lifestyle and relationship has caused. Let her see that living together outside of marriage is not a marriage. This arrangement was guided by the young man's mother and I ask Jesus that my daughter will stop idolizing this woman and not go for advice to stay in this ungodly style and living arrangement. I pray that she will remember the bibical value she was raised on and remove herself from this toxic lifestyle swifty. Lord gently guide her to see her me and her siblings in Your eyes not by the way this young man and his mother looks at us. Lord whisper to her right now: “Walk away. Trust your family. Trust Me. I will provide, protect, and restore everything he’s trying to take from you. I am praying for supernatural clarity to flood her mind, so she sees him for who he truly is, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, not a shepherd, not a provider and not ready for relationship. Lord have mercy on her and release her from this ungodly lifestyle. Lord guide her to move back home swiftly with no regret. Restore her faith, freedom, independence, self-worth, peace, satisfaction and fellowship with her family swiftly. Jesus, I ask for a special blessing upon my family tonight and today. Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. Saturate us with Your peace, love, favor, protection, respect and healing. Fill us with the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join you together in Jesus' name and we stand with you in prayer for your precious older daughter and for your whole family, for freedom, protection, restoration and healing. We hear the burden of your heart and we agree with your discernment that this relationship is bearing fruit that is not from God, exhaustion, financial hardship, division, isolation, chaos and spiritual oppression. God has not called His daughter to live in confusion and depletion, but in peace and purpose.

We affirm what you have spoken so clearly, that living together outside of marriage is not marriage. The Word of God is very clear about this. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4. Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18. What is being called a significant other or a partner is not a biblical category. A boyfriend or girlfriend relationship should be courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, and marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman that honors God. Any sexual union or cohabitation outside of that covenant is fornication and it opens the door to spiritual attacks, division and deep soul ties that steal peace and clarity. We also hear your concern that she is idolizing this young man and his mother and putting them before her faith, her God given family and her purposeful work. You shall have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3. When any person takes the place that belongs to God, our vision becomes clouded. And we agree that greed, laziness, control, dishonesty, manipulation and financial exploitation are not love. Love is patient and is kind, love doesn’t seek its own way and does not behave itself inappropriately. 1 Corinthians 13:4-5.

We also gently rebuke the influence that is drawing her away from the biblical values she was raised on and from fellowship with her family. Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14. Don’t be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. The exhaustion and division you describe are the fruit of this unequal and unholy arrangement, and it is right for you to call it what it is and to pray for her eyes to be opened.

We encourage you to continue to speak the truth in love, to keep the door of home and family open with grace, and to trust the Lord to be her provider and protector as she steps away. If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. Your declaration that she is the Lord’s daughter and that she belongs to Him is true, and we claim His promise over her, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this beloved daughter to You. Lord, You say she is Yours, she belongs to You, and we ask You to protect her with every ounce of Your power. Flood her mind with supernatural clarity tonight, open her eyes, her heart and her spirit to see clearly that she is not being loved but being used, that this control and manipulation and financial exploitation is not love, that this young man is not a shepherd or provider and is not ready for a godly marriage, but has been like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Give her courage and wisdom to release herself swiftly and completely from this toxic and ungodly living arrangement. By Your Holy Spirit convict her that cohabitation outside of marriage is sin and not Your will, and grant her godly sorrow that leads to repentance and freedom. Break every ungodly soul tie, break the idolatry of this young man and his mother, and break the hold of any advice that keeps her in this lifestyle. Whisper to her right now to walk away, to trust You and to trust the family You gave her, and guide her to move back home swiftly with no regret and no turning back.

Lord, restore to her everything the enemy has tried to steal, her independence, self worth, peace, purpose, fellowship with loved ones and unity with her family. Restore her faith and renew her mind in Your Word and in the biblical values she was raised on. Let her see herself and her mother and siblings through Your eyes and not through the eyes of those who demean and isolate her. Heal the exhaustion and financial hardship and wash away the spiritual attacks, division and chaos this relationship has brought upon her and upon the whole household.

Father, we ask for a special blessing upon this family tonight and today. Fill each one with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of their lives. Saturate this home with Your peace, love, favor, protection, respect and healing. Let no weapon formed against them prosper and let Your perfect love cast out all fear. We submit ourselves to You, we resist the devil and we trust You to cause him to flee. James 4:7. We thank You that You hear us when we call and that You are near to the brokenhearted. We ask all of this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Amen.

We are standing with you in prayer for your older daughter and for your whole family. We hear how heavy this has been for you, the exhaustion and division you described, and how deeply you love your daughter and want to see her free, at peace, and close to family again.

What you named about her losing her peace, her finances, her time with loved ones, and her sense of self is painful to read. Part of loving someone well is learning where our responsibility ends and another person's begins. Healthy boundaries are like a property line around what God has entrusted to us, our values, time, energy, and resources, and they give us freedom to say yes and to say no without guilt or fear. When that line gets worn down by control or manipulation, a person can feel isolated and worn out. It helps to keep your connection with your daughter steady and safe, so she knows your home and your love are open to her without shame or pressure, even as you do not carry what is not yours to carry.

One gentle next step that often helps is to stay in close fellowship with a trusted pastor or counselor yourself as you walk this out, someone who can support you, pray with you, and help you discern how to love her well while protecting your own peace and household.

Jesus, we lift this dear daughter to You. Guard her heart and mind, give her clear eyes to see this relationship as it is, and give her courage to step away. Protect her and provide for her, and draw her back to You and to the family who loves her. Fill this home with Your peace, healing, and restoration. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we join you with one heart in pleading for freedom, protection, restoration and healing for your older daughter and for your whole household.

We agree with you before the throne of grace that living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and that such a course brings not blessing but exhaustion, division, and spiritual harm. The Scripture is plain that marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that intimacy belongs only within it. What God calls holy we dare not call otherwise, and what God warns against we cannot ask Him to bless. Therefore we do not pray for the continuance of this arrangement, but for deliverance from it, that your daughter may be loosed from every chain of control, manipulation, greed and dishonesty which is not love.

We entreat the Lord to grant her supernatural clarity tonight, to open the eyes of her mind and heart and spirit, that she may see this relationship as it truly is. Deliverance from the power of darkness is the work of God alone, and He has found a ransom. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. When the lamb was slain, He brought His people forth with silver and gold, and He is able still to bring forth those who are held captive. We pray that He will make her deliverance effectual, that He will sever her from that which ensnares her, as Christ's look severed Peter from the crowd and restored him to fellowship and purpose.

We join you in declaring that she belongs to the Lord. She is His daughter, and He will protect her with all His power. We ask that He will whisper to her to walk away, to trust Him and to trust the family He has given her, and that He will provide, protect and restore all that the enemy has sought to take: her peace, her purpose, her self worth, her independence, her joy in fellowship with her loved ones and her unity with her household. May the Lord gently guide her to remember the biblical values upon which she was raised, to turn from idolatry of man or of counsel that keeps her in an ungodly path, and to seek wisdom from Him who gives liberally.

We pray also for you and for your family, that the Lord will fill every part of your lives with His Holy Spirit, saturating you with His peace, love, favor, protection, respect and healing. Though He chastens those whom He loves, He does not forsake them, and He will not leave you to bear this burden alone. May you live and declare the works of the Lord, giving testimony of His deliverance when it comes.

We ask the Father to grant your daughter courage and wisdom to release herself swiftly and completely, to return home without regret, and to be restored in faith, freedom, and fellowship. May she know that salvation and true security are in Jesus Christ alone, and that in Him there is forgiveness, cleansing, and newness of life for all who turn to Him in repentance and faith.

We continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that the hour of mercy will strike in heaven and that the Lord who has begun a good work will perfect it. In the name of Jesus our Redeemer we pray. Amen.
