Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.

We join you in praying in the mighty name of Jesus for this landlord who is also your former relationship, and we agree with the truth of Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it.

We love that you have centered this request on the gospel and on our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that anyone can be saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. What you are asking for this man is the greatest need any person has, to lose his old self ruled life and to surrender it fully to Jesus so that he may truly save it for eternity.

We also take to heart your declaration that Jesus reigns over darkness and His light expels all darkness and unclean spirits. This is true, for God has promised that He who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love Colossians 1:13 and Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12. We agree with you for victory in this rented apartment situation, not only for peace in the practical matters but for the eternal victory of a soul being transferred from darkness to light.

We want to gently encourage you concerning the relationship that is mentioned as ex. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we encourage that any courtship be entered into with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. If this former relationship involved intimacy outside of marriage, Scripture calls that fornication and we encourage repentance and walking in purity, for God calls us to flee sexual immorality and to honor Him with our bodies. We also encourage you to seek a godly marriage that honors God if it is His will for your life, rather than returning to a relationship that is not centered on Christ. We say this in love so that both you and this man may walk in holiness before the Lord.

We also pray that he will hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. We know that a person hears God most clearly when he is born again by confessing Jesus as Lord and believing God raised Him from the dead Romans 10:9, and then by drawing near to God through His Word and prayer. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:8. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wanting that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We lift up this landlord to You and ask for Your mercy and grace upon him. Lord, open his eyes to see that whoever tries to save his own life will lose it, and soften his heart to lose his life for Your sake so that he may save it. Convict him of sin and draw him to repentance and faith in Jesus. Deliver him from the power of darkness and from any influence of unclean spirits, and translate him into the Kingdom of Your beloved Son. Let Your light shine into his heart and expel all darkness. Give him ears to hear Your voice and a willing heart to follow Your holy plan for his life. Guide him on his life's journey, bring healing where there is brokenness, and let everyone involved see Your greatness and power. We also ask for Your peace and wisdom over this rented apartment situation, that all things would be done justly and in a way that honors You. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness that never fails. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.

We appreciate you bringing your landlord before the Lord so faithfully. It means a lot that even in a difficult rented apartment situation you are thinking first about his soul and wanting him to know Jesus and hear God's direction for his life.

That kind of love reflects Christ, and we join you in asking God to work in his heart. We know you cannot make that decision for him, and it can feel heavy to carry concern for someone who may not yet be seeking God. Continuing to entrust him to the Lord is the most loving thing you can do.

One simple way to stay steady in prayer is to set aside a brief moment each day to lift him by name, asking God to draw him closer and to make His leading clear to him in a way he can understand, while also living out quiet kindness whenever you have contact with him.

Father, we lift this landlord to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your mercy on his life, that You would open his heart to know Jesus as Savior and to experience Your forgiveness and new life. Speak to him in ways he can hear and guide him toward Your good plan for him. Give our friend peace in the housing situation and help them to rest in Your care and power. Amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace, pleading the very word our Lord has spoken, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no salvation but God's salvation from beginning to end, Divine from top to bottom. We ask the Father to show this man the truth of his need. May he be brought to see a real Fall, and therefore his real sinnership, that he may lay hold upon a real Atonement and receive a real pardon through the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, who bore our sins by substitution. That blessed doctrine, Believe and live, is the glass through which the soul looks and sees God's Salvation, and we pray that his eyes may be opened to see Jesus, for wherever we see Jesus we see God's Salvation.

We pray also that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. May he put his ear down to the promises of Scripture till he hears God speaking through them to his soul, not as the mere letter which kills, but as the living voice which gives life. May he take heed how he hears, with a simple and lowly heart, desiring to know God's truth that he may sincerely live it, warned by its threatenings, cheered by its promises, and comforted by every good word of the Lord.

Bear in mind that the house in which we dwell has God for its Landlord, and we are only tenants. Our breath is in our nostrils, but He keeps it there, and our lease is held upon His sufferance. He has at all times the right to enter His own property, and He speaks by that still small inward monitor. We pray that this man will listen to that voice, prepare to meet his God, and offer the key of his house to the Great Landlord. May he learn God's order as it is written with His own finger in the Ten Commandments, and walk in holiness of life, for God's holy plan is never apart from repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

So we ask the Lord to expel all darkness by His light, to grant true and lasting salvation which will never fade, and to make this man a pupil in God's school who then may declare His wondrous works. We ask not for a temporary work, but for that operation of grace which proves itself real upon the mind and heart, that he may lose his life for Christ's sake and so save it.

We plead this in the mighty name of Jesus, to whom none can withstand, trusting His mercy and grace and love and faithfulness, and praying that all who see His work will give praise to the God of all grace. Amen.

We join you in bringing this request before the Lord and we agree with you in prayer according to His word.

The Lord Jesus said, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it if a person gains the whole world and yet loses his own soul. We take this truth seriously, and we pray it for your landlord with love and hope for his salvation.

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we come before You. You alone are the way of salvation, and there is no other name by which we must be saved. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon this man, the landlord. We pray that today, while it is still the acceptable time and the day of salvation, he would hear Your voice, turn from darkness to light, and give his life to Jesus. Grant him repentance and faith, that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, and so be saved. Deliver him from all that keeps him from You, and lead him into Your holy plan for his life, which is good and pure and calls us to walk in holiness and obedience to Your word. Help him to hear Your voice clearly, to not harden his heart, but to lose his life for Christ so that he may truly save it and have eternal life with You.

Lord Jesus, You reign over all darkness and Your light overcomes it. We ask for Your peace and wisdom over this rented apartment situation. Provide for every need according to Your will, guard all involved from evil, and let Your greatness and power be seen as You work for salvation and holiness. We join you in praying for your ### according to Luke 9:24, that he would lose his life for Jesus sake in order to truly save it. That verse shows the great exchange of the gospel. To cling to our own life apart from Christ is to lose it, but to surrender our life to Him in faith is to receive eternal life.

We pray that he will hear the voice of the Lord. Scripture describes that voice as powerful and full of majesty, like thunder over many waters, a voice that can break the cedars and shake the wilderness and pierce the hardest heart. Even as a child in the womb learns to know its mothers voice after hearing it for months, so a person comes to know the voice of God as he hears the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. So we pray that the Word of Christ will come to him clearly, whether through Scripture, through your witness, or through the preaching of the gospel, and that the Holy Spirit will open his ears to recognize that it is God speaking to him and calling him to Himself.

We pray for his salvation while the door is still open. This is the time God is offering salvation to all who will come. Jesus said whoever comes to Him He will never cast out, and the promise stands that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. This salvation is great because it is open to anyone, even the lowest sinner, and it is greater than any other need, because it delivers us from the wrath to come. God has not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. The day will come when the opportunity will be past, but now is the accepted time to receive Christ.

We also pray that he will hear Gods voice concerning His holy plan for his life. God has a purpose for every person, and our times are in His hands. He sustains us and guides us as long as we walk in His will. May the Lord make His will known to your ### and give him a willing heart to follow it.

Let us pray. Lord Jesus, You reign over all darkness and Your light drives out darkness. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon this ###.
