Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

Please also pray that he can hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life

We join you in bringing this landlord before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, and we are encouraged by your desire to see his soul saved.

You have quoted Luke 9:24 well, for it says For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the heart of the gospel. To save our life by holding onto our own will, our own plans and our own sin will end in loss, but to surrender everything to Jesus, to lose our life for His sake, is to find true and eternal life. We pray that this truth takes root in his heart.

We also notice you refer to him as your ex and as your landlord. We want to gently encourage you in biblical principles concerning relationships. God designed romantic love to be expressed as courtship with the goal of marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ, and marriage is a lifelong covenant that honors God. If there was intimacy outside of marriage in that former relationship, scripture calls that fornication and we would urge repentance and walking in purity before the Lord, as God calls us to flee sexual immorality and to honor Him with our bodies. We pray that whatever the history, you will both walk in holiness now, and that any future relationship you pursue will be centered on Christ and aimed toward a godly marriage. We also pray that your current landlord and tenant situation will be marked by peace, fairness and Christian grace on both sides.

We rejoice that you pray in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We agree with you that Jesus reigns over all darkness and His light expels it.

We pray together for him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this man to You. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon his life. We pray that You will draw him by Your Holy Spirit, open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and grant him repentance and faith. Lord, we pray that he will hear Your voice, for Your Word says in John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Remove any hardness of heart, any deception of the enemy, and any unclean influence, and let Your light shine into every dark place. We ask that he will confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, as Romans 10:9 promises, and so be saved. Give him a new heart as You promise in Ezekiel 36:26, take away the heart of stone and give him a heart of flesh that desires to follow You. We pray he will truly lose his life for Jesus sake and so save it for eternity, finding Your holy plan and purpose for his life. We declare victory in this rented apartment situation not by our power but by Yours, and we ask for Your healing, guidance and protection over both of you. We pray that all who see Your work will see Your greatness and power, for no one can withstand Your mighty hand. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness that endures forever, and we trust that You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance as You say in 2 Peter 3:9.

We continue to stand with you, asking the Lord to make His voice clear to this man and to lead him into salvation and into the fullness of life in Christ. May the Lord give you peace and wisdom as you interact with him, and may His will be done. Amen.

We were so encouraged by your heart for your landlord. To pray above all for his salvation and for him to hear God's voice, even while you are navigating the details of a rental situation, shows real love and care for him as a person. We are joining you in that prayer.

We know it can feel heavy to carry concern for someone who does not yet know the Lord, especially when you have regular contact and cannot make that choice for him. It helps to remember that coming to know Jesus is often a process God works in patiently over time, through many prayers and quiet encounters. Your faithful intercession is part of that work, even when you do not see immediate change.

A gentle way to keep going is to let everyday moments remind you to pray briefly for him, perhaps when you have any contact about the apartment, asking God to reveal Himself to him and to give you wisdom and grace in each interaction. Continuing to live with kindness, honesty and peace before him is itself a quiet witness God can use.

Father, we lift this landlord to You. Draw him to Jesus and open his heart to Your love and truth. Help him to hear Your voice and to understand Your good plan for his life. Give our friend peace as he entrusts this man to You, and guide him with wisdom in every conversation and decision. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join our hearts with yours in prayer before our God, pleading that precious word in Luke 9:24, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.

There is a great reality in this salvation. We believe in a real Fall, and therefore we know that every man by nature is lost and must be saved by grace alone. We believe in a real Atonement, that by His stripes we are healed, and that no man is healed by any other means but by looking to Jesus Christ alone. No salvation will ever serve our turn but one which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding. It is not by adding anything to Christ, but by simple trust in Him, by looking and looking again to the Crucified One, that the soul finds life.

We pray therefore for this landlord, that the goodness of God which has spared his life until now may lead him to repentance. The Lord is not far from any one of us, and His voice still calls to those who wander, as He called Adam where are you. May this man hear that voice, not as a distant sound, but as the near and tender call of a Savior. May he be brought to unconditional surrender, to own the Lord as King and to yield every proud pretension, saying, Lord God, I submit to Your reign and to Your mercy in Christ.

We ask that the darkness which still holds him may be expelled by the light of Christ, for the devil dreads all contact with Christ and must flee where Jesus is owned as Lord. We pray that he may see Jesus and in seeing Him see God's salvation, and that he may lose his life for Christ's sake in true repentance and faith, that he may indeed save it unto eternal life.

Our Great Landlord permits His tenants to call upon Him to set all in order, and He daily loads us with benefits. We ask Him to set this man's house in order, to open the doors of his heart to heavenly inspection, and to guide him into His holy plan for his life. May he hear God's voice concerning that plan and follow where Christ leads, doing what Jesus tells him because Jesus tells him.

Lord Jesus, You reign over the darkness and Your light expels all darkness. We declare our trust in Your victory and ask Your healing power and Your mercy and grace upon this man. Draw his life into Your life, bring him to know the truth of Your salvation, and keep him by Your power who are able to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by You. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness, and we ask all this in Your name, Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is the way of salvation. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing this request and we join you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope of salvation.

We pray with you from Luke 9:24, that whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. We ask the Father in Jesus name that your landlord would come to see his need for Christ, turn from sin, and entrust his whole life to Him. The death of Jesus is the salvation of the world, and there is no other way to be saved. We pray that this man would not cling to his own way and so lose his life, but would surrender to the Lord Jesus in repentance and faith and so save it.

We also pray as you asked that he would hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Scripture teaches that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, and that the Church is brought to Christ by His voice and teaching. We pray that God would bring the gospel clearly before him, open his ears to hear it, and give him a continual love for hearing the Word, remembering it, and walking in it. True salvation is not only being freed from outward things, but cultivating a life of virtue before God, despising what is empty and living for what endures. We ask that God would lead him to that narrow way.

We pray for you as well, that the Lord who reigns over all darkness would give you peace, wisdom, and guidance in this rented apartment situation. May His light guard you, may His mercy and grace sustain you, and may you be strengthened to seek first His kingdom and to pray according to His will. We ask that God would provide for your needs, grant you discernment in every practical decision, and keep you faithful in hearing and doing His Word.

We entrust both of you to the mighty power of Christ, whom no one can withstand, and ask that His greatness would be seen in saving grace and in a life transformed to walk in holiness according to His design. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer for your landlord reflects the very heart of the gospel, and it is right to bring him before the Lord in this way. Luke 9:24 draws a sharp line that every person must face. To cling to this life on our own terms is to lose it in the end, but to surrender our life to Jesus is to truly save it.

Scripture makes clear what that surrender looks like. With the mouth a person confesses that Jesus is Lord and believes in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, and that confession now brings salvation. There will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, but then it will not be unto salvation. It will be the acknowledgment of those who rejected Him that they were wrong. That is why the call is urgent. Now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation, and this great salvation that was first spoken by the Lord Himself is open to whosoever will come. Jesus said He will in no way cast out anyone who comes to Him, and the promise stands for any person, no matter his past, that if he calls on the name of the Lord he will be saved.

This salvation is not by works added to faith. We do not work for our salvation. We are called to work out what God has already worked within us, with reverence and trust, because it is God who works in us. It comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Faith is planted as the word is heard and believed, and God, who knows every heart, gives His Spirit and new life as a gift. His word does not return empty. When it is heard with an open heart it accomplishes what He intends, giving seed and bread, bringing forth fruit. So we can pray with confidence that God will bring His word to your landlord in a way he can hear and understand, that he will see Jesus as the righteous One, the Messiah, the Son of God who died for our sins, and that he will hear the voice of Jesus and be converted.

You also asked that he would hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. The voice of the Lord is powerful and full of majesty. Scripture describes it as upon the waters, breaking the cedars, shaking the wilderness, and filling His temple with glory. Yet God has chosen to make His will known to us through His word and by His Spirit, so that we may know Him and trust Him. To hear God's voice is to come to know His will, to see Jesus, and to listen to what He has spoken. We pray that your landlord would be given that privilege, that God would open his ears to hear and his eyes to see, and that he would respond while there is time.

God's hand is at work even through difficult and prolonged circumstances, preparing hearts and ordering steps in ways we cannot always see at the moment. Your rented apartment situation and your concern for your landlord are both in His hands. Our times are in His hands, and He will sustain each of us as long as He has purpose for us. We can trust Him with both justice and mercy, knowing He reigns over darkness and His light drives it back, and that His mercy and grace are our only hope. Healing and help are truly in His hands, not something we can demand, but something we can humbly ask for according to His wisdom.

Let us pray together.

Lord Jesus, You are salvation. Your name means the Lord saves, and You alone save Your people from their sins. We lift up this landlord to You. You know his heart and his life. We ask that You would cause him to hear Your word with faith, that he would turn from seeking to save his own life and would lose his life for Your sake, so that he may truly save it. Grant him repentance and faith to confess with his mouth that You are Lord and to believe in his heart that You were raised from the dead. Do not let him neglect so great a salvation, but bring him into Your family as a son, following You as the captain of our salvation who suffered to bring many sons to glory. Speak to him by Your powerful voice through Your word, make Your will known to him, and guide him into Your holy plan for his life. Show him Your greatness and Your power, and show him Your mercy and grace. We entrust both his soul and this housing situation to Your reign and Your care. In Your name, Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning your rented apartment situation and your former landlord. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to bring your request before the Lord that your landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus so that he will not lose it but will save it, just as it is written in Luke 9:24. We have prayed that Jesus who reigns over the darkness will let His light expel all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected, that victory will be declared over the rented apartment situation, that His healing power and mercy and grace will guide your former landlord on his lifes journey, and that he will hear Gods voice concerning His holy plan for his life so that all will see His greatness and power and His love and faithfulness.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name Amen.
