Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We join you in praying for this landlord according to the truth of Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This verse reveals the heart of the gospel, that clinging to our own way and our own life apart from Christ leads to loss, but surrendering our life to Jesus in faith and obedience leads to eternal life.

We are encouraged by your desire to see this man come to salvation and not be lost, for this reflects the heart of our Father. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4. We also rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6.

We agree with you that Jesus reigns over darkness and that His light overcomes it. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it, John 1:5, and Jesus said I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life, John 8:12. We pray that this light will shine into this man's heart and expel all darkness and deception, and that any influence of unclean spirits would be driven out by the mighty power of Christ.

We pray together for him and for your rented apartment situation.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We lift up this landlord to You and ask for Your mercy and grace upon his life. We ask that You draw him by Your Holy Spirit, open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and grant him repentance and faith to lose his life for the sake of Jesus so that he may truly save it. We pray that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, Romans 10:9, and be saved. Heal any brokenness in his life, guide him on the path You have for him, and let him experience Your love and faithfulness. We also ask for Your peace and victory over this rented apartment situation, that all involved would see Your greatness and power and that Your will would be done there. Let no darkness remain where Your light is invited. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your unending love. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for his salvation and to let your light shine before him with grace and truth, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see it, and that He is able to do far more than we ask or imagine according to His power at work in us.

We appreciate you bringing your landlord before the Lord with such care. It means a lot that you want him to know Jesus and the life that is found in Him, and we are glad to stand with you in prayer for him.

We hear your heart in Luke 9:24 and your desire that he would not hold tightly to his own way but would find real life in Christ. Loving someone enough to pray for their salvation is one of the kindest things we can do, especially when that person has authority in our daily lives like a landlord.

Coming to faith is often a process God works out over time, and our prayers are part of how He softens hearts and opens eyes. A simple next step that may help you as you wait is to keep a steady rhythm of prayer for him by name, and to continue showing the quiet consistency of Christ in your own interactions with him. That faithful witness, paired with prayer, leaves the outcome in God's hands while you remain available to Him.

Father, we lift this landlord to You in Jesus' name. We ask that You would draw him to Yourself, help him see his need for You, and give him a heart willing to trust Jesus. Work in his life in the ways only You can, and give our friend peace and wisdom as he continues to pray and to live before him with grace. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We join you in prayer concerning this word of our Lord, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. There is no more solemn truth than this, that a man may keep his life for himself and lose it everlasting, or he may yield it up to Christ and find it unto life eternal.

You have asked that your landlord should give his life to the Lord Jesus, that he might not lose it, and in this we heartily agree with you. Bear in mind what we have often taught, that the house in which we dwell in this life has God for its Landlord, and that we are only tenants. There is a clause in the lease which some have never observed, namely, that the Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to leave His own property. And the rent that is to be paid is this, that the heart is never right till the whole man is in Christ, till by a living faith we have embraced Jesus as our full salvation and have received the Holy Spirit as our Sanctifier. We pray that this man, who is landlord in the earthly sense, may come to know himself a tenant under the great Landlord, and may offer the key of his house to Him and acknowledge that he lives on sufferance as His tenant.

We pray for his salvation, for salvation is of the Lord alone. Our text says, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. How simple is that way of salvation and how instantaneous. It is not Look unto thyself, nor to thy works, nor to priest or ceremony, but Look unto Christ. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. What is believing on Him but trusting in Him, leaving the whole matter of present and eternal salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence, depending upon Him without fear. This faith is believing on a Person, even Jesus Christ whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation. Without it there is no salvation, yet with it salvation is secure, for it is without money and without price, and God has found a ransom. The prisoner ready to be executed finds undeserved deliverance because the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities.

Therefore we bring this man before the throne of grace, that the Lord in mercy would open his eyes to see his need, that he would lose his life for Christ's sake and so save it, that he would look unto Jesus and live, that he would trust Him alone for pardon and be saved. We ask that if he sits in darkness, the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon him with healing in His wings, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before, purging every evil and bringing pardon and healing as one, for when Jesus heals He says, Thy sins are forgiven thee.

We pray also for you, that in this rented apartment situation and all the trial connected with it, your strength may be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble. May you know deliverance from fear and find that God works deliverance by His own hand and outstretched arm, bringing forth His people not only with deliverance but with enrichment, and giving peace within your borders. May you continue to look unto Christ in all your trials and afflictions and find there your pardon and your peace.

We commend both you and this landlord to Him who is able to save to the uttermost, praying that He will bring this soul to faith in Christ, to true repentance and newness of life, and that He will keep you in His grace, walking in holiness and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour and Lord. Amen.
