Disciple of Prayer
I am nearing death and I need the hand of the Lord to preserve me and keep me from it. Please Lord deliver me from it and provide me an angel to go to a safe place. I want to live more for the Lord. If it is His will. I pray for protection from the dangers all around me. I have been going through countless dangerous situations. Deliver me Lord rescue me from the pit today. Thank you Jesus amen.

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace with urgency and deep compassion. The Word of God assures us that "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:17-18 WEB). Your desire to live more for the Lord is precious in His sight, and He does not abandon His children in their darkest hour.

We rebuke every spirit of death, fear, and despair that seeks to overwhelm you. Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). The enemy has no authority to cut your life short when God still has purpose for you. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we stand in agreement with you for divine protection and deliverance.

Father, we ask You to dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around this beloved child of Yours. Send Your ministering spirits to guard, guide, and lead them to safety according to Your perfect will. Preserve their life, Lord, for Your glory and for the work You still have for them to do. We plead the blood of Jesus over every danger, every threat, and every scheme of the enemy. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

We also want to gently remind you that your ultimate safety and security are found in Jesus Christ alone. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).

Lord, we ask You to fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, giving them strength, courage, and unwavering faith. Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways. Provide them with a safe place, both physically and spiritually, where they can heal, grow, and serve You without fear. We trust in Your mercy and Your mighty power to rescue and restore. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear the urgency in your words, and we are praying with you right now. The cry for God’s hand to preserve you, to lead you to a safe place, is one we take deeply to heart. We don’t know exactly what dangers are pressing in, but we know the Lord hears this desperate plea, and He is not far from you.

While we ask Him for supernatural protection and guidance, we also gently encourage you not to overlook any practical help He may put in front of you. If you are in immediate physical danger or feel that your life is at risk, please reach out to local emergency services or get yourself to a place where you are not alone. Sometimes God’s provision of safety comes through the hands and feet of others, a doctor, a shelter, a trusted friend, acting as the very “angel” you’ve prayed for. Your desire to live more for Him tells us how much you value the life He has given you.

In this fearful moment, we hold you before the throne of grace.

Lord Jesus, You are the Deliverer who rescues us from the pit. We ask You now to step into this situation and surround Your child with Your protection. Guard them from every danger, seen and unseen. Open a clear path to safety and give them the peace that passes understanding, even while the storm rages. Quiet their heart and let them sense Your presence, steadying them. In Your mercy, grant them more days to walk with You, to testify of Your goodness. We pray all of this in Your powerful name, Jesus. Amen.

Your cry has come up before the Lord, and He is not deaf to the voice of your anguish. The danger you feel pressing so close, the pit opening beneath your feet, is known to Him who marks the falling of every sparrow. Yet consider this: the deliverance you seek is already purchased, for the great Ransom has been found. God Himself has found a ransom; the King’s own Son has borne the penalty. The pit cannot hold the soul for whom Christ has died.

You speak of countless dangers, of enemies surrounding you, and of death drawing near. But has He not promised that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, shall separate you from His love? If you are in Christ, death itself is but a bruised heel; in dying, you conquer death even as He did. The river you fear has turrets of jasper glittering beyond it. Stand still, then, and see the salvation of God. He brought them forth with silver and gold; He will bring you forth. None of the honor belongs to your own strength, it is all of free grace.

Do not antedate the time of your deliverance. Patiently wait and quietly hope. You have been delivered from the archers of ecclesiastical discord and from the guilt of sin; will He not also deliver from the power of darkness and from every temporal danger as He sees fit? Take unto you the whole armor of God, and above all, the shield of faith. The warrior clad in faith is invulnerable to the fiery darts. Even when your heart says, “God has forsaken me,” remember Jacob at the brook Jabbok: he crossed full of fear, yet met his brother with a kiss. So often our dreaded calamities melt into mercies.

But listen closely. If sin lies festering unconfessed, your danger is great, for despair breeds there. Let your sorrow drive you to the great Substitute. Lay hold of Him who has delivered you from the power of sin, sanctification is as much His work as justification. The moth that dashes into the candle cannot rescue itself; neither can you. But He is able to keep you from falling. Do not rest in carnal security like the men of Laish, who had no business with any man and none to pity them in their death agony. You have One who pities you, who rescues the prey from the mighty. He will not leave you comfortless.

Lift up your head, then. Your request for an angel to guide you is answered in a higher way: He makes His angels ministering spirits for the heirs of salvation, and He Himself goes before you. Be not afraid, only believe. Whether He delivers you from the bodily peril or through it into His presence, you are safe. Live more for Him this very hour; trust and obey. I am persuaded He will bring you forth, not crippled to your harm, but whole in the core of your soul, to sing with the saints the new song of deliverance forever.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord hears the cry of the distressed, yet His answer often exceeds what we ask. You plead for deliverance from death, and that is natural to our flesh, for even Christ in His humanity said, "Father, save Me from this hour." But see what followed: He did not shrink from the hour itself, because He knew that through death He would trample down death. Deliverance from dying is a small thing compared to being given a soul that despises death and clings to Christ alone. Do not think that if God permits danger, He has abandoned you. The Apostle Paul fell into the very mouth of the lion, and the Lord delivered him, yet later he said he was ready to be poured out as an offering. The first deliverance was from the beast, but the second and greater preservation was from every evil work, that he might depart in boldness. So it may be for you: whether you are rescued from this bodily peril or called to pass through it, the true safety is to be found blameless in His presence.

You have been in countless dangers, and still the Lord has kept you. Consider Joseph: suspicion, slander, a prison, yet each terror was woven together with comfort, so that he learned to trust not in a quiet life but in the God who raises the dead. Do not seek a promise that all storms will cease, but pray rather for the grace to say with Paul, "We were bold in our God to speak the gospel in much conflict." The one who fled ease and risked death for the work of God, like Epaphroditus, gains a martyr's crown without the sword. So cast your desire to live more for the Lord upon His will, and let your soul be anchored not on escaping the pit but on the One who descended into it and broke its gates. If He calls you to remain, serve Him with courage; if He calls you home, depart in peace. The deliverance you truly need has already been won: Christ has died, and your life is hidden with Him. What shall separate you from that love?

You have cried out for God's preserving hand, and He hears you. In your fear of death, you are reaching for life, and that is the right place to be. The Scriptures lay before us two clear paths: the way of life and the way of death. The mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. That choice is before you even now, and your desire to live more for the Lord shows the Spirit drawing you toward life.

The very thing you fear, death, has already been met and conquered by Jesus Christ. The wages of sin is death, but He tasted death for every one of us. He bore your sins in His own body on the cross. The penalty that was yours, He paid. Through His death, He destroyed the one who held the power of death, the devil, and broke the claim of death over all who trust in Him. Satan cannot hold you if you belong to Jesus. His grip was shattered at the cross.

When you were baptized into Christ, you were baptized into His death. Your old life, with all its sin and its just sentence of death, was crucified with Him. That means the law of sin and death no longer has the final word over you. Another law is now at work, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, and it is far stronger. It sets you free.

This is not to dismiss the real dangers around you. You are in a pit, facing countless threats, and you need deliverance today. God knows that. He is not distant. He can send His angels, and He can lead you to a place of safety, if that is His will. Keep asking, keep trusting, and keep submitting to His will, just as you are doing. But know this as well: even if the outward danger remains for a time, the resurrection life of Jesus inside you is unshakable. For the child of God, death is not an end; it is a doorway into the fullness of His presence. It has become a transition from this frail tent into a house eternal, and that truth removes the bondage of fear.

You said, “If it is His will.” That is the very heart of faith. Jesus Himself prayed, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” God’s will for you is not destruction, but salvation and life, abundant life in His Son. Hold fast to that. The hand that holds you is stronger than every enemy. He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for you will not abandon you now. Whether He preserves your physical life for more days of service or brings you through death into His nearer glory, you are safe. No man, no power, no circumstance can deliver you out of His hand.

So do not let fear rule. Let the perfect love of Christ cast it out. You want to live more for the Lord. That is the Spirit’s work. Rise up inside, and choose life. Cling to Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life. He has already rescued you from the deepest pit: separation from God. And He will walk with you through every earthly valley until you see His face. May the Lord be your shield and your very great reward, now and forever.
