We lift up ’s doctor’s appointment to You, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to guide the hands of the medical team, grant wisdom to the doctors, and bring clarity to every test and result. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard ’s heart and mind as he awaits the outcome. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:10-11, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
We also pray for safe travels for , Lord. Cover him with Your protection as he journeys to and from the appointment. Let Your angels encamp around him, shielding him from harm, accidents, or delays. We claim Isaiah 52:12 for him, "For you shall not go out in haste, neither shall you go by flight: for Yahweh will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard." May every step he takes be ordered by You, and may he arrive safely and return home without incident.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even when we cannot see the full picture. It is a sweet privilege to unite with you in prayer for your dear son . What comfort is found in the Father’s appointment! For all things are in His hand, and the time of the end is fixed in His wisdom. We need not fear sickness or the perils of the way, for “I will make all his bed in his sickness” is a promise that carries us over every dread. Under His feathers we are safe, nestled in warmth and ease; and the Captain of our salvation has foreordained all things, so that not a hair of our head shall perish without His good pleasure. Look, then, to Jesus, the Carpenter’s Son, yet very God, who bore our sins and made the Father forget them for His sake. Trust Him wholly, and your heart shall be full to the brim with contentment, come what may. May the results be favorable, but more than that, may this trial draw your son near to the Heart that bled for him. The kiss of the Father is upon every child returning to His bosom; and in Christ, all things are yours, for He ever liveth to make intercession. So, safe, safe, safe, near our God and blessed, both now and for eternity.

You ask for prayer regarding your son’s appointment and travels, and you have done well to seal the request in the name of Jesus. But let us not think that prayer is merely the motion of lips, or that favorable results come by many words. Lift up your heart with heedfulness, singing inwardly to God as Moses did when he cried without voice and was heard. The true safety, the true favorable outcome, is to have the Lord as your friend.
For if He is for us, what harm can any physician’s report or any danger on the road do? Laugh at human things, which pass like a shadow. Nevertheless, let us also entreat the God of glory to grant a calm journey and a good report, if it be for the salvation of your son’s soul. For what does it profit to gain bodily health and lose the soul?
Let this be your chief concern: that both you and he may stand with boldness before the fearful judgment seat, where the Only-Begotten will test all. That is the favorable result that never fades. Therefore, pray with a sober and watchful mind, bridling your tongue from anxious complaints, and offering not silver or long travels but a will on fire. I join my own entreaty to yours, that God who knows what we need before we ask may grant safe travels according to His wisdom, and use this appointment to draw your son nearer to Himself, in Jesus Christ, who is both physician and guide.
