We lift up ###'s doctor's appointment to You, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to guide the hands of the medical team and grant wisdom in every decision made. Lord, we ask for favorable results that bring clarity, healing, and peace. Calm any anxiety or fear in ###'s heart, filling him with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
We also pray for safe travels to and from the appointment. Protect him on the roads, guard him from harm, and surround him with Your angels for safety (Psalm 91:11). Let Your presence go before him and behind him, ensuring that every step he takes is ordered by You (Psalm 37:23).
Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promises for ###'s health and well-being. Strengthen his faith as he trusts in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May this appointment be a testimony of Your faithfulness and grace.

The One who formed him and knows every detail of his body goes with him, and He cares deeply about both the journey and the destination. That doesn’t erase the waiting or the nervous moments, but it does mean the outcome rests in hands far gentler and wiser than ours.
One thing that often helps in these moments: when you can, simply remind your son, and yourself, that he’s being prayed for by name right now. There’s something steadying in knowing you’re not carrying the weight by yourself. How graciously the Lord orders the steps of His children! The journey your son takes and the appointment he keeps are both under the eye of Him who has appointed all things from the beginning to the end. You need not fear the dangers of the way, for beneath the wings of the Most High he shall be safe, sheltered as the chick under the hen’s warm feathers. And if sickness be laid upon him, yet the Lord has promised to make all his bed in his sickness, a comfortable assurance that carries us over the sharpest trial. Let us trust the Captain of our salvation, who steers every vessel safe into the port of Paradise.
It is no small comfort that our prayers are heard for the sake of the Beloved Son. The Father sees in Jesus a sufficient ground to grant us mercy; the blood of that crucified One speaks better things than any request we could frame. So we ask boldly that this appointment yield favourable results, that the skill of the physician be guided by the Great Physician, and that every report give cause for thanksgiving. Even if the answer tarries or wears a different aspect, “at the time appointed the end shall be,” and that end shall be sweetened by the presence of Him who remembers our sins no more because He remembered them upon His Son.
Let your son rest in the arms of the good Shepherd. None of the little ones perish; it is not the will of our Father in heaven that one should be lost. Whether he returns with a clean bill of health or with a heavier burden, he returns with a Father’s kiss upon his cheek, for the Father runs to meet every prodigal and every trembling child. I pray the Holy Spirit will fill your house with peace while you wait, and that you will know the fellowship which is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
