We have heard your cry for every depression and hopelessness to go away and we join together with you before the throne of grace to seek the Lord for deliverance and hope in Jesus name.
We know how heavy and dark these feelings can be, and we want you to know that you are not alone and you are not forgotten by God. His Word tells us Yahweh is near to those who are brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. He sees your pain and He cares deeply for you, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell you that there is no hope, that you are worthless, or that God has abandoned you. Those thoughts are not from the Lord. The truth is that God loves you more than you can imagine and He has a purpose and a future for you, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.
We also gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. It is through Jesus that we can bring every burden of depression directly to God and find true and lasting hope.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is burdened by depression and hopelessness. Lord we ask that You touch this heart with Your healing hand, for You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask that You lift this heaviness and replace it with Your peace which surpasses all understanding that will guard the heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Lord we pray that You would help this dear one to not be afraid, for You have said Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Fill this heart with Your hope, Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit Romans 15:13. We command every spirit of depression, despair and hopelessness to leave in Jesus name and we speak Your light and life over this soul. Help this dear one to hope in You even when the soul is downcast, Why are you in despair, my soul Why are you disturbed within me Hope in God For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence Psalm 42:11. Teach this dear one to bring every anxious thought to You in prayer and to rest in Your unfailing love. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to stay close to the Lord each day through prayer and reading His Word, even when you do not feel like it, for His Word is a lamp to your feet and a source of strength. Do not walk through this alone. Please reach out to a trusted pastor, a mature believing friend, or a biblical counselor who can walk with you, pray with you, and encourage you in person. If the heaviness feels overwhelming or continues, please also seek help from a trusted medical professional or counselor, for God can use many means to bring healing. Remember that God’s grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9. Hold fast to Jesus, for He is your hope and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Your cry concerning depression and hopelessness has been brought before the Lord, and we have joined you in prayer with deep care and compassion. We know how heavy that darkness can feel, when the heart is pressed down and whispers that there is no hope.
The Scripture speaks to such a condition. There is indeed no hope in ourselves, and to look within for strength when the spirit is broken will only deepen the despair. But hopelessness in self is not hopelessness in Christ. There is a God of Hope, and there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior. While we have no strength of our own, there is nothing which Jesus cannot do. He has a peculiar art in dealing with desperate cases and finds His delight in healing those whom all others might leave for lost.
We are reminded that Jesus is the great Healer of broken hearts. Psalm 147 declares that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. These healing leaves can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon a soul with healing in His wings, pardon and healing come together from the same gracious hand. In the dust of self abasement there is still hope, for God grants grace to the humble and lifts up those who look to Him.
Let us pray for you now.

Let Your Word bring faith, for faith comes by hearing, and let Your Spirit bring comfort, assurance and joy. Teach this soul to look away from self and to rest wholly upon Christ, who is able to heal and to save to the uttermost. Grant renewed hope, quietness of mind, and daily grace to walk close with You. Your cry for freedom from depression and hopelessness has been heard, and I join my prayer to yours before God who sees the heaviness of your heart.
I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation and hope, will lift this weight from you and fill the empty and dark places with His light and comfort. I ask that He will give you peace that steadies your mind, strength for each day, and a renewed hope that does not fade. May you hear His voice through His Word, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, and may that voice remind you that you are not forgotten and not alone.
Do not despair, even when affliction presses hard. We are called to exhort one another gently and to comfort those who are weary and fainthearted, to support the weak and to be patient with all, and not to cease hoping. The good things God has promised are held in hope, and we are called to hold fast to that hope and even to rejoice in it as if it were already fulfilled, because He who promised is faithful.
God does not desire to cast you into despair, but to encourage you and to bring forth fruit in your life through His grace. That same grace which forgives sins also teaches us to live with sober hope, looking for the blessed hope of our Savior who gave Himself for us to redeem and purify us.
So I pray that God will guard your heart and mind in Christ, renew your strength, surround you with faithful people who will exhort and comfort you, and lead you step by step out of hopelessness into His joy. May He remind you daily that your life is precious to Him and that His mercy is new every morning.
