We want to thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. It has been a few days since you shared about walking through depression and we have continued to lift you up before the Lord.
We remember you shared that you have been praying and even went to the beach where you felt peace for a time, but then worry came again about a girl, and how any time you experience emotions you cannot name them or understand them. You told us you cannot eat or sleep well and you feel so sick, you feel suicidal thoughts that remind you of childhood, and you feel so alone with this. You shared that growing up your family often threatened that and blamed the other person ever since you were little, and that you have forgiven and let go and you love your family, yet you wonder why you cannot breathe free from the cycle, especially around love or even desire alone. We have been praying specifically for you in all of these areas.
We want you to know you are not alone and we continue to carry you in prayer. We are thanking God that you are reaching out, that you pray and that you get therapy, and we pray God will continue to work through those supports and through His presence to bring you comfort and healing. We pray for His peace to guard your heart and mind, for rest for your body so you can eat and sleep and be strengthened, for clarity to name and understand emotions without fear, and for freedom from the old cycle that was formed in childhood. We pray the Lord will break that cycle and show you His perfect love that casts out fear, and that He will help you know your worth and His nearness even when you feel alone around love and desire. We are praying Psalm 34:18 over you that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, and Psalm 147:3 that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
