Depression and homelessness and now carless

Your request has been heard and we have lifted you and your children before the Lord with care and compassion. The weight you are carrying is very heavy, to be without a stable home and without a car, to struggle with depression and anxiety, and to labor daily in a difficult living situation while trying to protect and provide for your children. God sees all of this, every act of service you do, every sleepless night, and every prayer you have offered.

We thank God for your faith and for your desire to seek only the doors that He wants to open for you. That is a wise and humble prayer. Scripture reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and that we can cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us. Jesus invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest, and He promises a peace that guards our hearts and minds.

We are praying for you in these specific ways:

We pray that God, in His mercy, will open the right doors for stable housing and for reliable transportation in His perfect timing, and that He will provide for your daily needs according to His riches in Christ. We pray for wisdom for every decision you must make and for clear guidance to opportunities that are from Him.

We pray for your mental and emotional strength and for the peace of your children. May the Lord guard your minds, lift the heaviness of depression, calm anxiety, and renew your hope day by day.

We pray for grace and wisdom in your current household. We thank God for the ways you serve the elderly man in your home, and we pray that God will give you strength to continue to act with love and integrity while also giving you wisdom to set healthy boundaries and to protect your children from tension. May God soften hearts and bring a more peaceful environment, and may He give you favor and help from others around you.

We also encourage you to stay connected to your church family. Since you mentioned your church group that meets twice a month, please let your pastors or trusted leaders there know more about your practical needs for housing and transportation if you have not already. Often God opens doors through His people, and they may know of resources, counsel, or assistance that can help you take next steps. If depression and anxiety feel overwhelming, please also reach out to a pastor, counselor, or trusted Christian support for ongoing care. You do not have to carry this alone.

Be assured that you are not forgotten. We will continue to pray that God will make a way where there seems to be no way, that He will sustain you and your children, and that He will lead you to a place of greater stability and peace.

Father, we bring this mother and her children before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. You know their need for a home, for transportation, and for provision. You know the strain of their daily labor and the tension in their living situation. Lord, open the doors that You want opened and close those that should remain closed. Provide for their needs, protect their hearts and minds, and surround these children with Your peace. Give this mother wisdom, strength, and rest, and let her feel Your nearness each day. Help her to keep trusting You and to find help and encouragement through Your church. We ask this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus, amen.
