We hear your distress and take your experience very seriously. The Bible clearly warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). What you describe is not to be taken lightly, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, fully armed with the authority given to us through Jesus Christ.
First, we must affirm that Jesus Christ has already disarmed these powers and made a public spectacle of them through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15). You are not powerless, you are a child of God, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). But we must also be vigilant, for the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).
We rebuke any demonic presence in your home in the name of Jesus Christ. We command every unclean spirit to flee and to have no place in your dwelling, for the Lord has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Your home is to be a sanctuary of peace, not a foothold for darkness.
We encourage you to examine your home and your life for any open doors that may have allowed this influence. Have there been items, media, or practices brought into your home that do not align with God’s holiness? The Bible warns us not to give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27). Even small compromises, occult objects, ungodly entertainment, unforgiveness, or unrepentant sin, can invite spiritual oppression. We urge you to prayerfully search your heart and your home, removing anything that does not honor God.
We also encourage you to fill your home with the presence of God. Play worship music, declare Scripture aloud, and pray over every room. The name of Jesus is the most powerful weapon we have, use it boldly. As it is written, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We lift up this dear brother/sister and their family, asking for Your protection and peace to surround them. Lord, we declare that this home is Yours, purchased by the blood of Jesus, and no demonic force has any right to linger here. We command every unclean spirit to leave this place and to go where Jesus sends them, never to return.
Father, we ask You to fill this home with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your presence be so tangible that darkness cannot remain. Give this family discernment to recognize any areas of compromise and the courage to remove them. Strengthen their faith and remind them of Your promises, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for a hedge of protection around this family, that no evil may befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). May they rest in the assurance that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust.
We thank You, Lord, for Your victory and for the authority You have given us in Jesus’ name. We stand on that authority now, declaring freedom, peace, and deliverance over this home. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Do not fear, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Walk in the light, confess any known sin, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you. The enemy may try to intimidate, but he is already defeated. You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37).
If this oppression continues, we strongly advise seeking prayer and counsel from your pastor or a trusted spiritual leader who can stand with you in person. You do not have to face this alone. The body of Christ is here to support you.
