Beloved of All
We join you in prayer for deliverance and healing and bring these needs before the Lord who is our true physician and redeemer.
We pray that every curse spoken against you and against this son would be broken and have no power, for it is written that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, and that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. We ask the Father to surround you both with His protection, to close the door to every work of darkness, and to fill your home with the peace that comes from trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and life.
We lift up this son to the Lord. We pray for his body, that God would grant him health and wisdom and strength to lose weight safely and in a way that honors God and cares well for the body He has given. Give him and those who care for him sound counsel, self control, and perseverance, and guard him from harm as he seeks to become stronger and healthier.
We also pray for healing from past hurts. The Lord sees every wound and is near to the brokenhearted. We ask Him to heal the deep places of memory and sorrow, to wash away bitterness and fear, and to restore what has been wounded. As in a spiritual surgery, may His Word and His Spirit gently heal what was hurt outside and renew the heart within. Help him to hear the Word of God continually and to be strengthened by it day by day, so that faith and hope may grow and bring forth good fruit in due season.
May God grant you both deliverance from all that oppresses, grace to walk in holiness and fortitude, and the assurance of His everlasting mercy. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone saves and heals and makes us whole. Amen.
