We join with you in prayer together and stand in agreement for you and your son, asking for God's deliverance, protection, and healing in Jesus' name.
We hear your concern about curses, and we want to remind you of the power and authority we have in Christ. For those who are in Christ Jesus, no curse can ultimately stand against us, for He has already won the victory. As it is written, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13, and There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. We do not need to live in fear of curses spoken against us, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We also cling to the promise that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. If any curses have been spoken, we declare they are broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus, and we pray you and your son will walk in the freedom and peace that comes from trusting fully in Him.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and receive salvation and deliverance. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are forgiven, made children of God, and given authority over all the power of the enemy. We encourage you to call upon His name and trust in Him alone for your protection and healing.
We lift up your son before the Lord for his physical health and for healing from past hurts. We pray he will lose weight in a safe and healthy way, honoring God with his body. We are reminded that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are to glorify God in our body 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray for wisdom for him and for you to make nourishing choices, for self-control and strength, and for medical guidance that is sound and life-giving, rather than any harmful or extreme measures. We pray the Lord will give him discipline and encouragement, and that his worth will be rooted not in appearance but in being fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14.
We also pray for deep inner healing from past hurts. The Lord is near to those with a wounded heart, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. By His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We ask God to gently uncover and heal every painful memory, to help your son to forgive as Christ forgave us, and to replace hurt and shame with His peace and joy. We pray he will know how deeply he is loved by his heavenly Father.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that You are our deliverer and our healer. We agree together that every curse, spell, or word spoken against our dear one and her son is broken and ended now by the power of the blood of Jesus. We declare that no curse can remain where Your blessing reigns, and we ask that You fill their home with Your protection, light, and peace. Lord, we lift up this son to You. We ask for Your hand upon his body, that You would help him to lose weight safely and to grow strong and healthy for Your glory. Give him wisdom, motivation, and godly counsel. Heal his heart from every past hurt, Lord, wash away bitterness and pain, and restore him with Your love. Help him to walk in freedom, knowing he is Your beloved child. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only Savior and hope, amen.
We encourage you both to stay rooted in God's Word daily, to pray in Jesus' name continually, and to put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11, trusting not in superstition or fear, but in the living Christ who keeps you in perfect peace.
