Deliverance

We join you in prayer for you and your son and bring your requests before the Lord with thanksgiving for his mercy.

We pray that every curse spoken against you would be shown to have no power before the cross of Christ. Scripture says, Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things written in the book of the Law, and Christ has redeemed us from that curse by becoming a curse for us, so that the blessing might come to us through faith in him. There is no deliverance apart from Jesus Christ alone, and in his name we ask the Father to silence every accusation, to break every chain of darkness, and to establish you and your son in the freedom and peace that belong to his children. We pray that you will walk in careful hearing of his Word and continual remembrance of his promises, for this house of God is a spiritual surgery where the wounds we carry are healed by his grace.

We also lift up your son for his physical health. We ask the Lord to grant him wisdom and self control and to guide him to safe and healthy ways to care for his body, which is a gift from God to be stewarded for his glory. We pray the Lord will give him strength, good counsel from trustworthy medical help where needed, and perseverance day by day, and that he would not be discouraged but would know that God sees every small step and honors faithful effort.

We pray for healing from past hurts for you both. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and he heals the wounds that others cannot see. We ask him to lift the weight of past sorrow, to restore what has been broken, to teach you to forgive as you have been forgiven, and to fill your hearts with hope for what is to come. May he raise up what has been cast down and lead you into fullness of life in Christ.

Father in heaven, we ask these things in the name of Jesus, trusting not in our own worth but in your great love and power. Grant deliverance, health, and wholeness according to your will, and help this family to walk closely with you all their days. Amen.
