We join with you in prayer for deliverance for you and your son and we stand together in the name of Jesus Christ against every curse and every work of darkness.

We want to remind you of the power and authority that belongs to those who are in Christ. The Word tells us Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13 and that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. We do not need to live in fear of curses when we are covered by the blood of Jesus, for he has delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love Colossians 1:13. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and we rebuke every curse, every spoken word, every assignment of the enemy against you and your son and we declare that it has no authority and is broken and ended now by the power of Jesus. We submit ourselves to God and resist the devil knowing he will flee from us James 4:7.

We also lift up your son before the Lord for his physical health and for healing of his heart. We pray that God will help him to lose weight safely and in a way that honors the body God has given him, for we know our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in us, which we have from God, and we are to glorify God in our body 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray for wisdom, self control, and strength for him, and for guidance for any doctors or counselors who support him, that his health would be restored and that he would prosper and be in health, even as his soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We ask the Lord to give him discipline without shame, and to help him see himself as God sees him, fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14.

For the past hurts he carries, we pray for the deep healing that only Jesus can bring. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was on him, and with his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We pray that every wound from rejection, disappointment, or pain would be touched by the comfort of the Holy Spirit, that your son would know he is close to the Lord who is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We encourage him to bring those hurts to Jesus in prayer, to forgive as Christ forgave us, and to walk in newness of life, knowing that God works all things together for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. It is by that holy name that every curse is broken and every healing is made possible, and we come boldly before the throne of grace only because of him.

So together we pray, Father in heaven we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ your Son. We thank you that you hear us when we call on that name. We ask now that you break and end every curse spoken or intended against this dear one and her son. Let every chain be loosed and every dark influence be cast out and have no place in their lives again. Fill their home with your peace and protection. Lord we lift up this son to you, touch his body and bring him to a healthy weight in a safe and balanced way, give him strength to steward his health well and to honor you with his body. Touch his heart and heal every past hurt, wipe away every tear, restore joy and confidence in you, and let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by you. We declare your freedom, your wholeness, and your hope over them both and we trust you to complete the good work you have begun. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We are standing with you in prayer for you and your son, and we hear the weight of what you are carrying for him. You want him to be free, to be healthy, and to be healed from what has hurt him in the past, and those are good and loving things to bring to the Lord.

We know past hurts can linger and affect how a person sees himself and how he cares for his body. Healing in those deeper places is often a gentle process over time as the Lord meets him where the pain is, not a quick fix. We are asking God to draw near to both of you with His peace and to make His presence and protection very real in your home.

For his desire to lose weight safely, we encourage you to walk that out with practical support as well as prayer. If he has not already, it would be wise for him to see his doctor or another trusted medical professional who can help guide a safe and steady plan that fits him. You can continue to pray for strength, consistency, and encouragement for him along the way.

Father, we lift this parent and son to You. We ask You to break off anything that has oppressed them and to cover them with Your peace. Bring healing to the painful memories, guard their hearts, and guide them with wisdom for next steps for his health. Lead them day by day in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bringing this burden before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to show His power to deliver and to heal.

We pray that you and your son will know the full deliverance which is in Christ Jesus, for it is written that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. There is no curse that can stand against those who are in Him, for He bore in His own body the penalty that was due to us, and by His blood we are bought with a price and set free. We ask the Lord to make this truth very real to your hearts, that you may rest not in any fear of curses, but in the finished work of the Redeemer who has found a ransom and who brings His people forth with His own hand. May the Lord grant you peace in the knowledge that deliverance must be worked by His outstretched arm alone, and that He is gracious to deliver from the pit.

We pray also for your son, that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing beneath His wings. We ask the Great Physician to lay His pardoning and healing hand upon him, for pardon and healing are one in Christ. May the Lord heal the hurts of the past, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue to change the life and make the nature new. We pray that those past wounds would be purged and that abundant streams of healing would flow down to him from the great Head of the church, bringing freshness and wholeness of heart.

We ask the Lord to grant him wisdom and grace for his body, that he may lose weight safely and in a way that honors God and preserves health. Give him strength for discipline, sound counsel, and daily help, that his body may be cared for as the temple of the Holy Spirit, and that he may grow in health and in peace.

May you both be kept in the peace of God within your borders, and may you live to declare the works of the Lord, giving Him all the honor for every deliverance and every healing He is pleased to grant. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our only salvation. Amen.
