Beloved of All
We join you in bringing you and your son before the Lord in prayer.
We ask our heavenly Father to show His mercy and protection over you both. The Scripture teaches that Christ has redeemed us from the curse by becoming a curse for us, so that in Him we might receive blessing and freedom. We pray that any curse spoken against you would have no power and no hold, and that you would rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ who alone saves and delivers. We ask that the Lord would guard your hearts and minds in Christ, fill you with His peace, and keep you from evil.
We also lift up your son and pray for his health. We ask God to give him wisdom, strength and self control to lose weight safely and in a healthy way, and to guide any doctors or others who help him. We pray that he would be able to care for his body as a gift from God with patience and perseverance.
We pray too for healing from past hurts. God sees every wound and He heals the brokenhearted. We ask Him to bring comfort, to mend what has been hurt, to take away bitterness and sorrow, and to restore joy and wholeness as your son continues to hear and trust His word.
Keep seeking the Lord daily, listening to His word and remembering His promises, for He is faithful to heal and to deliver those who look to Him.
We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only deliverer and hope. Amen.
