We join with you in prayer together for deliverance and healing for you and your son, and we bring these needs before our heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus.
We understand the burden you feel about curses spoken against you and your family, and we want to share the truth of what Scripture says about this. For those who are in Christ, no curse can ultimately stand against us, because Christ has already broken its power. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. We also remember that Balak tried to hire Balaam to curse Israel, but he had to declare, How shall I curse whom God has not cursed Job 23:8, and we claim the promise that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. The enemy may try to harass and oppress, but greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and we have authority in Christ to resist him. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1.
We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and deliverance. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name alone that curses are broken and healing comes.
For your son, we pray for his physical health and for his heart. God cares about our bodies, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray that he will be able to lose weight safely, not through harmful or extreme measures, but through steady, healthy stewardship of the body God has given him, with wisdom, self control and strength from the Lord. Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We encourage you to support him with loving encouragement, healthy habits, wise medical counsel if needed, and prayer, rather than shame or pressure, remembering that the Lord looks at the heart and wants him to know he is fearfully and wonderfully made.
For healing from past hurts, we know the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We pray that any wounds from rejection, disappointment, or pain in the past would be brought into the light of Gods love, and that your son would experience forgiveness, peace, and restoration. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that You are our deliverer and healer. We declare in Jesus name that every curse, spell, or word spoken against this dear one and her son is broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. We ask that You surround them with Your protection and fill their home with Your peace. Lord, we lift up this son to You, we ask for Your healing hand upon his body and his heart. Guide him to healthy ways to care for his body, give him strength and discipline, and let him lose weight safely in a way that honors You and brings health. Heal his heart from every past hurt, comfort him where he has been wounded, renew his mind, and help him to walk in the identity he has as Your beloved child. We break the spirit of fear and shame and replace it with Your love and hope. Let him know how deeply You love him and have a good plan for his life. We pray all of this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and deliverer, amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand firm in faith, to speak Scripture over your family daily, to stay in prayer and in the Word, and to trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. We are standing with you for complete freedom, health, and healing.
