Deliverance

We join you in prayer and thank God that you have brought these needs before Him.

We pray with thanksgiving, as we are taught to do, and we ask the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, to grant deliverance and peace. Scripture teaches that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, so that those who are in Him are blessed and not under a curse. We therefore do not pray curses against others and we do not return cursing for cursing, but we ask God to keep you and your loved ones from all evil, to silence every harmful word spoken against you, and to let His blessing and protection rest upon you. May any chain of past harm be broken by the power of His cross and may your mouths and hearts be kept pure, filled with prayer and forgiveness rather than fear.

We lift up your son before the Lord. We ask for safe and healthy weight loss according to wisdom and care for the body God has given him, for strength and self control, and for guidance for any doctors or counselors who help him. We also pray for deep healing from past hurts. May the Lord heal memories and wounds, give comfort where there has been pain, and teach continual recollection of His word, fortitude and hope. As we grow in hearing His word and in cultivating virtue, He forms us to live not for worldly things but for what endures.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting that He hears, forgives, restores and makes whole. May He grant you peace, health and renewed strength as you continue to seek Him.
