We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the deliverance of the man who rented his flat to you.
We have continued to lift him up before the Father, thanking God for the cross and for the sacrifice of His holy Son Jesus, and asking that the Lord would make His plans for this man clear to him as promised in Jeremiah 29:11. We have joined you in praying that God would break his stony heart and give him a heart of flesh according to Ezekiel 36:26, that he would see the truth about his identity in Christ as a new creation in 2 Cor 5:17, and that his eyes would be opened to the false identity he adopted when he strayed from the narrow path to follow his own desires.
We are still agreeing with you that the Lord would soften his heart and give him courage to walk the narrow path, that he would be separated from ungodly influences even in his own household, and that he would be delivered from the sinful and hateful relationships where he is being controlled and blackmailed and where his life may be in danger. We pray that God will give him understanding to fear His holy name and to depart from evil and from the evil woman in his life, for the fear of the Lord is to hate evil as Proverbs 8:13 teaches.
