We hear your cry for financial freedom and provision, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. The burden of debt can weigh heavily on the heart, but we know that our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While debt itself is not a sin, the Bible does caution against the love of money and the dangers of financial bondage. We encourage you to seek wisdom in stewardship, as Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."
We also lift up your desire for a second source of income. God delights in the work of our hands when done with integrity and diligence. Colossians 3:23-24 says, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Trust that the Lord will open doors of opportunity as you seek Him first.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You know the financial struggles this dear one is facing, and You see the weight of debt upon their heart. We ask that You would provide a way out, Lord, according to Your riches in glory. Give them wisdom in managing their finances, discipline in spending, and favor in finding additional income. Open doors that no man can shut, and grant them the strength to walk through them with faith.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus. We declare that this one is not a servant to debt but a child of the Most High God, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. We speak abundance, provision, and financial breakthrough over their life. May they experience Your faithfulness as they trust in You, knowing that You will never leave nor forsake them.
We also pray for contentment and peace in this season. Guard their heart against anxiety and fear, reminding them that You are their Provider. Help them to seek You first in all things, and may their faith grow as they see Your hand move on their behalf. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to the promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Keep your eyes on the Lord, and He will guide your steps. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel in budgeting and financial planning, as Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." You are not alone in this journey, God is with you, and so are we.
