Beloved of All
Your prayer for your daughter is heard, and I join you in bringing her before the Lord with thanksgiving for your love and concern for her.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this precious daughter to You. Thank You for making her Your child and for loving her with an everlasting love. We ask You to watch over her, to guide her steps and to hold her hand each day. Give her wisdom to make good choices, a heart to respect and honor her parents, and a desire to walk in the right path that leads to life.
Lord, protect her from bad influences and place around her friends and teachers who will encourage what is good and true. Help her to do well in school, to apply herself diligently and to use the gifts You have given her for Your glory. Cover her with the blood of Jesus, guard her heart and mind, and remove any hurt, bitterness, unhappiness or confusion that weighs on her. Replace it with Your peace, joy and hope, and bring change that helps her grow into the young woman You created her to be.
We pray she will know deeply that she is loved, both by You and by her family, and that she belongs to You. Teach her to trust in Jesus alone for salvation and to follow Him faithfully. Give her parents strength, patience and wisdom to lead her with love, truth and prayer, and to model a life that points her to Christ.
We entrust her to Your care, trusting that You who began a good work in her will carry it to completion. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
