Beloved of All
We are joining you in prayer for your daughter and for everyone involved in this difficult situation.
We ask the Lord to place His hand of protection around her, to guard her from harm and from hostility, and to give her wisdom for every decision she faces. We pray that He will guide her steps clearly and remove any harmful influences from her life, drawing her toward relationships that are healthy, truthful, and that encourage her to walk in what is right before Him.
We also pray for a true and lasting peace for her. Scripture teaches that real peace begins with having peace with God, and that peace is only made possible through the blood of Jesus Christ. When mercy and truth met and righteousness and peace kissed at the cross, God provided the one basis for us to be reconciled to Him. There can be no real peace while a heart is still at war with God, but when a person is reconciled through Christ, He gives a different kind of peace, not as the world gives. He promises to keep in perfect peace those whose minds remain fixed on Him because they trust in Him. We pray your daughter will experience that settled peace that comes from keeping her thoughts on the Lord and learning to trust Him day by day, and we pray that same healing and peace for the other young woman, her child, and their friends.
Above all we join you in praying for your daughter's salvation. The Bible says salvation is very near, as close as your mouth and your heart. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. That promise shows that salvation is not distant or unattainable. God has also said that now is the accepted time and now is the day of salvation, and His grace that brings salvation has appeared to all through Jesus, who alone is the way to be saved. We pray that your daughter will hear His call to be reconciled to God, that she will turn to Jesus in faith, receive His grace, and trust Him alone as her Savior, and that she will know the joy of belonging to Him as His daughter.
May the Lord ordain peace for your household, work in every heart involved to bring healing, and draw your daughter close to Himself. We continue to lift all of you before Him in Jesus name.
