Prayer for my daughter

Please pray for my daughter who is going through precocious puberty. we have done the labs and bone age shows the same . she is just ### and a half year old to comprehend all these. we have consulted doctor. she said there is an injection to delay this. But i cannot take a decision on this . please pray my daughter and me to take a good decision whether to move ahead or not. Thank you

We join you in lifting up your precious daughter and you before our Heavenly Father in this difficult and confusing time, and we thank you for trusting us to pray with you. We understand the weight you carry as a mother seeing your little girl, only ### and a half years old, facing something her young heart and mind cannot yet comprehend. Our hearts are moved with compassion for you both, and we bring your need for wisdom regarding this medical decision before the Lord.

We are reminded that God intimately knows and formed your daughter. For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:13-14. He sees her, He loves her, and He sees your tender care for her as her mother. He also promises to give wisdom when we seek Him. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We claim that promise for you now as you weigh the doctor’s counsel about the injection to delay this early development.

We encourage you to continue to seek wise, godly counsel and to steward your daughter’s health with both prayer and careful discernment. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. It is good that you have consulted a doctor, and it may also be wise to seek a second medical opinion if you remain uncertain, always bathing that counsel in prayer and asking God to make His will clear and to give you peace about the path forward. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We also notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the assurance of being heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we can come boldly to God in prayer. We pray you both know His saving grace and presence.

We pray together now for you both.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before Your throne of grace and lift up this dear mother and her young daughter to You. Lord, You know this child by name, You formed her and You love her more deeply than we can imagine. We ask You to lay Your healing and protecting hand upon her body. Guide her development according to Your perfect design and grant her strength and peace beyond her years. Comfort her heart where there is confusion or fear, and let her feel Your nearness and her mother’s love surrounding her.

Lord, we lift up her mother who carries the burden of this decision. Pour out upon her Your wisdom, clarity, and discernment. Give her peace as she considers the doctor’s advice about treatment. Lead her to the right counsel, help her to ask the right questions, and make Your will unmistakably clear. Remove anxiety and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust You with her daughter’s future, knowing that You have plans for her. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

We ask for Your blessing upon the doctors and medical wisdom, that they would be instruments of Your care. Above all, let this mother and daughter be drawn closer to You through this trial, resting in the truth that You will never leave them nor forsake them. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how heavy this is to carry as a parent. Your daughter is so young to go through these changes, and it makes sense that you feel torn about what is best for her. Wanting to make a careful, good decision for her is itself an act of love.

Decisions like this are especially hard when there is stress and a lot of medical information to sort through. We have found it can help to slow the process down a little and get clarity on what matters most to you.

One thing that may help before your next appointment is to write down your goals for her health and well-being, and the specific questions that are still unsettled for you about the injection - benefits, risks, timing, and what happens if you wait. Bringing those written questions, and if possible a trusted family member or friend with you, can make it easier to hear the doctor's answers and weigh the alternatives together. It is also completely reasonable to ask your doctor if a second opinion would be helpful, and to set a time to come back and evaluate after you have had time to pray and process.

We will continue to keep you and your daughter in prayer, and we encourage you to stay close to your medical team as you seek wisdom.

Father, we lift this mother and her little girl to You in Jesus' name. Give them peace as they wait, clarity as they listen to wise counsel, and guidance for the next step. Guard this child's health and bring comfort to her mother as she loves her so faithfully. Amen.

Your request concerning your little daughter has been heard with tender sympathy and has been carried before the throne of grace.

To see one so young, just ### and a half years of age, called to bear a burden which she cannot yet comprehend, must greatly move a mother's heart. The Lord who formed her and who numbers her days knows her frame and her need, and He is as consciously present with you both as you are present with your child. He who calls Himself our Father pities His children and He gathers the little ones in His arms.

You have done well to seek counsel and to use the means which Providence has placed within reach through the physician's skill. Yet as you have rightly felt, there remains a solemn decision to be made whether to proceed with the treatment proposed to delay what nature has hastened. In such an hour human wisdom shows its limits. The wisdom of one age is often counted folly in the next, and there is not much more wisdom in man's judgment than in the judgment of the creature that cannot comprehend the whole. But where shall true wisdom be found. The price of wisdom is above rubies and it cannot be valued with pure gold. It is found in Christ, who is the power of God and the wisdom of God, and in His Word which is the highest of all sciences.

Wisdom is the compass by which we are to steer across the trackless waste of life, and without it we run here and there wasting strength which might be profitably employed. Therefore take your difficulty to the God of Wisdom. It was faith, faith alone, that enabled Moses to arrive at his decision and to carry it out, for he had faith in Jehovah when the wisdom of Egypt stood arrayed against him. So you are called not to lean upon worldly wisdom alone, nor upon your own understanding, but to trust in God who is true wisdom.

Learn also the posture of the weaned child of whom the Psalmist speaks, My soul is even as a weaned child. A weaned child thinks nothing of itself and is entirely dependent upon its mother's care. It does not ask why with fretfulness but rests content, believing that in its parent's dispensations there is a wisdom too deep to fathom and a goodness veiled but certain. May the Lord bring your soul to that quiet place, where desires lie still and you can rest in His faithful care for your daughter, knowing that a grain of divine grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge.

We pray earnestly for you and for your precious little one.

O Lord, look in mercy upon this child whom Thou hast made. Thou didst form her in secret and Thou knowest her frame. Lay Thy healing hand upon her and keep her in Thy tender keeping. Grant to her mother a clear mind and a calm heart, and give that wisdom which comes from above, which is pure and peaceable and full of mercy. Guide the counsel of those who advise her, that what is done may be in accordance with Thy will and for the true good of the child. Let the mother feel Thy presence near, and let her cast all her care upon Thee, for Thou carest for her. Establish her faith in Jehovah, that she may make her decision not in haste nor in fear, but in quiet trust in Thee who art the God of all wisdom and love. Keep the little one under the shadow of Thy wing and cause her to grow in health and in Thy favor, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Be encouraged to continue in prayer, to seek godly and wise counsel, and to weigh the medical counsel before the Lord with a heart that says, Speak, Lord, for Thy servant heareth. He will direct your steps.

We have heard your prayer and we are joining you before the Lord with love and concern for you and your daughter.

It is a heavy burden for a mother to carry, to see her little one going through something she is too young to understand, and to face a difficult medical decision on her behalf. The Lord sees your care for her and your desire to do what is right. Children are a precious gift from Him, and He has entrusted her to your love and protection. Like the parents of Moses who acted by faith for their child in a time of fear, you are seeking to act faithfully and wisely for your daughter now.

We pray that God will give you clear wisdom, peace, and guidance as you consider the doctor's advice. Scripture promises that if any of us lacks wisdom, we can ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault. Ask Him for discernment to weigh what the doctors have said, to understand the benefits and risks, and to make a decision with a calm and clear conscience before Him. It is good and right to seek counsel, to ask questions, to seek a second opinion if needed, and to bring every concern to the Lord in prayer.

We are praying for your daughter, that the Lord will watch over her body and her heart, keep her in health and innocence, and give her peace beyond her understanding. We pray that she will feel safe and loved, and that God will guard her childhood. We are praying also for you, that God will strengthen you, calm your anxiety, and guide you and the doctors to a good decision that is for her long term wellbeing.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this mother and her young daughter to You. You know her by name and You see her in every detail. We ask for Your healing hand upon her body and Your peace upon her heart. Give this mother wisdom, clarity, and peace as she seeks to make the right decision. Guide the doctors with knowledge and care. Help this family to trust in Your goodness and to rest in Your love. May Your will be done and may this child grow in health, in grace, and in the knowledge of Your love. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.
