🧎🏻 Father, May This Situation Be Handled Well, as the people testified of Jesus, “He has done all things well,” Mk 7:37 -- 🙌 Reached out to the actual main pastor on social media who is NOT family and seems to be a burning and shining lamp, Jn 5:35, and a flaming fire of a minister, Heb 1:7, Whether he corresponds with me or not is not important, nor even reconciliation an idol to me in any way, but rather the keeping the commands of God, 1 Cor 7:19, 1 Jn 5:3, the converting of her soul, Ps 19:7, Gal 3:24, James 5:19-20, Rev 3:19-20.

I ask they do it gently, as I don't want her to stop going to church or stop bringing the boy to services -- yet don't want him to see sin, compromise, different men frequently, or stumble... Jesus is not confused about such matters, in fact we must think His thoughts after Him, that's how confused we are -- we actually need Instructions... Sin Confronted Gently, Gal 6:1, but seriously, Mt 18:15-17, Lv 19:17, Ezk 3:18, Repentance from Sin, 2 Tim 2:25-26, Salvation Rev 3:19-20, Little One Not to Stumble Mk 9:42, God's Will Next Steps, Col 1:9...

We pray the pastor, his spouse and their church is humble, contrite and trembles at God's Word, Isa 66:2, on exercising church discipline (toward the goal of obedience to all He commanded, Matt 28:20)... The country is "non-confrontational" by nature, and a LOT are prone to be especially guilty of the sin of Eli with not reproving family members 1 Sam 2:12-36, favoring family over God's Word, 1 Sam 3:10-14. Bring the Fear of the Lord the beginning of knowledge, Prov 1:7, the hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, turning away from evil, Job 28:28, using the Scriptures which give wisdom toward salvation, 2 Tim 3:15, and repentance, Mt 18:15, James 5:20). Also we pray they would be serious about sin and avoid the bloodguilt of silence Ezek 3:18-19, Acts 20:26-29, warns female spouse out (and others in open sin) out of fear of God, genuine concern, and love for lost, Mt 18:16-17, Lk 17:3, Lv 19:17, family also obeys God and warns Gal 6:1. Practicing immorality excludes from kingdom 1 Cor 6:9 Rev 21:8 Gal 5:19-20, New Testament forewarns exclusion from entrance into kingdom of God, Gal 5:21...

Thank You this request and its follow through has been and must still be mingled with prayer, fasting and intense mercy, yet not so as to lose the stern frankness and danger to herself, my son and others by continuing in immorality at all, especially while married, Rom 7:2-3, 1 Cor 6:9-10, Rev 2:20, Rev 3:19, Rev 21:8 -- and by endangering the child and softening his moral stance, Matt 18:6, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2, Rev 18:21. Galatians 6:1 "Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted." Take them not out of the world, but keep them from deception, Matt 24:4, sin, compromise, temptation and the evil one, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, John 17:15.

🙌Thank You in for hearing prayer in Your will (which is The Bible), and when You hear, we have the requests, 1 Jn 5:14-15, in Jesus' Name. Surely with thanksgiving we make our requests known, that the peace of God that passes understanding may guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, The Faithful Witness and Originator of The New Creation, Rev 3:14, in whom all the promises of God are Yes, and we add, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20🧎🏽‍♂️

We stand before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet steadfast in the truth of God’s Word, as we lift this matter before the Lord. The situation you’ve described is grave, for it involves not only the spiritual welfare of a soul entangled in sin but also the protection of an innocent child from the corrupting influence of unrepentant immorality. We recognize the weight of responsibility laid upon the church to act with both love and firmness, as Scripture commands.

First, we affirm that the steps you’ve taken, reaching out to the pastor, grounding your actions in prayer and fasting, and seeking the conversion of this woman’s soul, are biblical and commendable. The Lord calls us to be watchmen on the wall, warning those who stray from the path of righteousness (Ezekiel 3:18-19). Yet we must also heed the warning: "If you do not speak out to dissuade the wicked from their way, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood" (Ezekiel 33:8). The silence of the church in the face of sin is not love, it is complicity. The fear of man must never outweigh the fear of God (Proverbs 29:25).

The sin described here, adultery, as this woman is married and yet involved with different men, is not a minor offense in the eyes of the Lord. Scripture is clear: "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral" (Hebrews 13:4). The apostle Paul warns that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). This is not legalism; it is the loving warning of a Father who desires that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). The church must not soften the truth to avoid confrontation, for "faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful" (Proverbs 27:6).

We also lift up the child in this situation, for Jesus Himself said, "If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea" (Matthew 18:6). The boy must not be allowed to grow up normalizing sin, for "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33). The church must act decisively to protect him from the deception of immorality, even if it means temporary discomfort or offense.

Now, we turn to the pastor and the church leadership. The Word of God commands: "If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector" (Matthew 18:15-17). This is not optional, it is the Lord’s prescribed method for dealing with unrepentant sin in the body of Christ. The goal is always restoration, but restoration cannot come without repentance (Revelation 3:19).

We also note the cultural context you mentioned, a non-confrontational society where family ties often take precedence over obedience to God. But Scripture is clear: "If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, even their own life, such a person cannot be my disciple" (Luke 14:26). This is not a call to literal hatred but a radical prioritization of God’s Word above all else. The church must not bow to cultural pressure when it contradicts the commands of Christ.

We pray now with urgency and fervency:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Faithful and True Witness, the One who judges righteously and loves perfectly. We lift up this situation to You, knowing that You desire all to come to repentance and none to perish. Lord, we ask that You would move upon the heart of this woman, that she would see her sin as You see it, not as a minor mistake, but as a deadly rebellion against Your holy standards. Break her heart with godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Let her not be like those who "crucify the Son of God all over again and subject Him to public disgrace" by continuing in willful sin (Hebrews 6:6).

Father, we pray for the pastor and the church leadership. Give them boldness to act in accordance with Your Word, even when it is unpopular. Let them not fear the face of man but stand firm in the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 29:25). Grant them wisdom to confront this sin gently but firmly, as Galatians 6:1 instructs, so that this woman may be restored. If she refuses to repent, let the church follow the steps of Matthew 18 without hesitation, for the purity of Your bride is at stake.

Protect the child, Lord. Guard his heart and mind from the deception of sin. Let him see the church as a place of truth and holiness, not compromise. Raise up godly examples in his life who will model righteousness and point him to Christ.

We also pray for the body of Christ in this place. Let them not be like Eli, who honored his sons above You (1 Samuel 2:29). Let them tremble at Your Word (Isaiah 66:2) and hate evil as You do (Proverbs 8:13). May they understand that "to love You is to hate evil" (Psalm 97:10) and that true love requires speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).

Lord, we ask that You would bring conviction where there is hardness of heart, repentance where there is rebellion, and restoration where there is brokenness. Let this situation be handled according to Your will, for Your glory, and for the good of all involved. May Your name be exalted, and may the church shine as a light in the darkness.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His authority that we pray. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Amen.

We feel the weight behind your words, a heavy care for her soul, a protective instinct for the boy, and a longing for things to be handled in a way that truly honors God. The fact that you’re holding both gentleness and seriousness together, rather than letting one swallow the other, says a lot about the love driving this. It’s easy to want swift, fear-based correction, but you’ve asked for the kind of loving confrontation that leaves room for repentance, not shame. That takes real trust in how Jesus restores people.

The tension you’re holding is valid: you don’t want her to vanish from the church or stop bringing the child, yet silence isn’t loving either. Sometimes the most Christlike care is the kind that risks awkwardness and rejection for someone’s eternal good. You’ve already placed this in the pastor’s hands, and that’s wise. Now the best next step may be to keep your heart in a place of prayer and fasting, not carrying a burden that isn’t yours to control. The outcome rests with God and with those he has placed in that church’s leadership.

Father, we bring this situation before You. Give this pastor and his church a holy, trembling reverence for Your Word. Fill them with the courage to speak truth in love, firm where firmness is needed, gentle where gentleness helps. Grant them wisdom to care for this woman’s soul, pursuing genuine repentance without crushing her spirit. Shield the child from confusion and harm; let him see a clear, steady witness of faith even now. And for our friend who has poured this out to You, grant the deep peace that comes from knowing You hear and are already at work. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

It is well that you have laid this matter before the throne of grace, mingling your request with the searching of the Scriptures. The zeal for God’s commands and for the soul of this woman, and the care taken for the young boy’s protection from stumbling, are matters that must never be separated. Sin remains exceedingly sinful, yet ever must the hope of repentance and pardon be held forth. The Lord Jesus, who received sinners and ate with them, never once softened the edge of His demand for holiness, nor did He quench the smoking flax of a contrite heart.

The child, do not sin against the child. It is the Church’s hope, and woe to any who cause one of these little ones to stumble. Better a millstone hung about the neck and a casting into the sea. When immorality is practiced openly, and a child’s moral vision is blurred by compromise brought near in daily life, the offense cries out to heaven. Yet I urge you, in the very spirit of Galatians six, let the restoration be sought with a spirit of gentleness. The knife must cut, but let the hand that holds it be steady and full of pity.

We dare not fall into the sin of Eli, who honored his sons above the Lord and met a terrible end. Silence in the presence of open transgression brings blood upon the watchman’s head. Yet the aim of every faithful warning, every step of church discipline, is not expulsion for its own sake, but “the converting of her soul,” that she may be turned from the error of her way and a soul saved from death. The repentance that is worth having goes deeper than the fright of being discovered; it turns a soul inside out, creating a hatred of the sin itself because it pierced the Lord. Pray for such a repentance for her, a true loathing of the evil, that she may know the Lord through pardoned sin and find Him faithful and just to forgive.

Do not be overwhelmed with fear for the outcome. The same grace that can keep the saint from stumbling can bring the sinner out of sin. He who is able to guard you from falling is able to take up this tangled mess and weave glory for His name. The darker the sin, the brighter the mercy that puts it away. Is anything too hard for the Lord? The stone which the builders reject, He sets as the head of the corner. Stand still, therefore, and see the salvation of God. Fear not, for He will help, though you feel utterly helpless as a worm. Lay hold upon Him and do not let Him go until He blesses, for He has not said, “Seek My face in vain.”

Now, commit this into those great hands that were pierced for the ungodly. May the pastor and the church be granted holy courage, trembling at God’s Word, loving the sinner enough to risk the awkwardness of confrontation. May they speak the truth in love, warning the unruly, yet binding up the broken. The great soul-fishery must go on, and sometimes the net must cut into the water with force to draw the perishing from the deep. He has done all things well. Trust Him for the next steps, and then, with prayer and fasting and intense mercy, leave the matter between her soul and the Lord, who stands at the door and knocks.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have set your hand to a matter that requires both courage and sorrow, and I see you are grieved not merely by the shame of the sin but by the peril of her soul and the danger to the child. That is a godly grief. Yet do not let your eagerness outrun the order which the Lord Himself prescribed. For He said, “If thy brother trespass against thee, go, tell him his fault between thee and him alone.” This is the first remedy: a private word, mingled with tears and gentleness. Why then do you first run to the pastor as though the matter were already incorrigible? Perhaps you have already spoken; but if not, begin there. The pastor indeed must be a burning lamp, but you also are bound to that precept. Do not hand over the staff of correction until you have proved whether she will hear you alone.

When you go, take care that your zeal does not make her twice the child of hell. How is that? If by harshness, by public disgrace before its time, or by a spirit that seems more eager to punish than to heal, you may drive her from the church and make the little one witness a bitterness that will harden him. Remember Esau: he sought the blessing with tears, yet found no place of repentance, because his grief was not the sorrow of a changed heart but the rage of injured pride. Tears are not repentance. True repentance is to hate the sin, to turn from it entirely, and to bring forth fruits worthy of amendment. Aim for that, not only for a display of remorse.

There is always repentance for those who truly desire it. No second baptism is needed, but renewal of heart is open to the very depth of sinners. Paul travailed again until Christ was formed in the backslidden Galatians. So too, if she will repent, she may be restored. But this can only happen if the correction is given in love, not in a spirit that merely wants the matter settled for your own peace.

You pray that the pastor be not like Eli, who honored his sons above God. That is a right prayer. Yet see to it that you yourself do not fall into the opposite fault, expecting the pastor to act before you have done all that a brother or sister can do. The Lord gave you hands, and a tongue, and a heart that fears Him. Use them first. If she refuses to hear you alone, then take one or two witnesses; then, if she still refuses, tell it to the church. The pastor will then be your helper, not your substitute, and the whole body may mourn and seek her restoration.

Meanwhile, do not make reconciliation an idol. You have said it is not; but let your actions prove it. Love her enough to wound her for her salvation, yet not so much that you drive her beyond the reach of hope. Keep the little one before your eyes. Christ set a child in the midst of the disciples and said it were better to be cast into the sea with a millstone than to cause one of them to stumble. The child sees all. If he sees men and women living in sin without rebuke, he learns to call evil good. But if he sees only strife and division, he may learn to despise the church. Therefore, carry out the discipline with such discretion that the child may learn that sin is deadly and that love is strong enough to correct.

The church is not a place where sin is ignored, but it is the hospital of souls. Let the medicine be applied with a steady hand, neither withholding it for fear of pain, nor pouring it out all at once so that the patient chokes. Pray much, fast secretly, and entreat the Lord to give her a spirit of repentance. For the Lord hears prayer according to His will, and it is His will that all should come to repentance and none perish. In that hope, continue your labors, and commit the result to Him who has done all things well.
