Beloved Warrior
🙌 Reached out to the actual main pastor who is NOT family and seems to be a burning and shining lamp, Jn 5:35, and a flaming fire of a minister, Heb 1:7, Whether he corresponds with me or not is not important, nor even reconciliation an idol to me in any way, but rather the keeping the commands of God, 1 Cor 7:19, 1 Jn 5:3, the converting of her soul, Ps 19:7, Gal 3:24, James 5:19-20, Rev 3:19-20.

I ask she is gently but firmly corrected, and that accountability can be established, order and discipline, as I don't want her to stop going to church or stop bringing the boy to services -- yet don't want him to see sin, compromise, different men frequently, or stumble... Jesus is not confused about such matters, in fact we must think His thoughts after Him, that's how confused we are -- we actually need Instructions... Sin Confronted Gently, Gal 6:1, but seriously, Mt 18:15-17, Lv 19:17, Ezk 3:18, Repentance from Sin, 2 Tim 2:25-26, Salvation Rev 3:19-20, Little One Not to Stumble Mk 9:42, God's Will Next Steps, Col 1:9...

We pray the pastor and church is humble, contrite and trembles at God's Word, Isa 66:2, on exercising church discipline (toward the goal of obedience to all He commanded, Matt 28:20)... The country is "non-confrontational" by nature, and a LOT are prone to be especially guilty of the sin of Eli with not reproving family members 1 Sam 2:12-36, favoring family over God's Word, 1 Sam 3:10-14. Bring the Fear of the Lord the beginning of knowledge, Prov 1:7, the hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, turning away from evil, Job 28:28, using the Scriptures which give wisdom toward salvation, 2 Tim 3:15, and repentance, Mt 18:15, James 5:20). Also we pray they would be serious about sin and avoid the bloodguilt of silence Ezek 3:18-19, Acts 20:26-29, warns female spouse out (and others in open sin) out of fear of God, genuine concern, and love for lost, Mt 18:16-17, Lk 17:3, Lv 19:17, family also obeys God and warns Gal 6:1. Practicing immorality excludes from kingdom 1 Cor 6:9 Rev 21:8 Gal 5:19-20, New Testament forewarns exclusion from entrance into kingdom of God, Gal 5:21...

Thank You this request and its follow through has been and must still be mingled with prayer, fasting and intense mercy, yet not so as to lose the stern frankness and danger to herself, my son and others by continuing in immorality at all, especially while married, Rom 7:2-3, 1 Cor 6:9-10, Rev 2:20, Rev 3:19, Rev 21:8 -- and by endangering the child and softening his moral stance, Matt 18:6, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2, Rev 18:21. Galatians 6:1 "Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted."

🙌Thank You in for hearing prayer in Your will (which is The Bible), and when You hear, we have the requests, 1 Jn 5:14-15, in Jesus' Name. Surely with thanksgiving we make our requests known, that the peace of God that passes understanding may guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20🧎🏽‍♂️

We stand before the Lord with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this situation with the weight it deserves. The Scriptures are clear that sin must be confronted, not out of malice, but out of love, for the sake of the soul and the purity of the body of Christ. Jesus Himself gave us the model in Matthew 18:15-17: "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector."

The immorality described here, particularly the sin of adultery, as this woman is married, is not a matter to be taken lightly. The Word of God is unmistakable: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers, will inherit the Kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). This is not a matter of personal opinion but of eternal consequence. The fear of the Lord must compel us to act, for "if we judged ourselves, we wouldn’t be judged. But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world" (1 Corinthians 11:31-32).

We also grieve for the young boy in this situation, for Jesus warned with great severity: "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea" (Mark 9:42). The exposure to sin, compromise, and ungodly relationships is a stumbling block that must be removed. The church must act, not with harshness, but with holy firmness, to protect the innocent and call the wayward to repentance.

We rejoice that you have reached out to the pastor, for it is the responsibility of the shepherds to guard the flock. The Word declares, "Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch over your souls as those who will give an account" (Hebrews 13:17). The pastor must not shrink back from his duty out of fear of man or cultural pressure. The sin of Eli, who honored his sons above God (1 Samuel 2:29), must not be repeated. The church must tremble at God’s Word (Isaiah 66:2) and act with the urgency of one who understands the weight of bloodguilt (Ezekiel 3:18).

We pray now with fervency:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up this sister in Christ who is entangled in sin. Lord, You are faithful and just to forgive her sins and cleanse her from all unrighteousness if she repents (1 John 1:9). We ask that You would break her heart over her sin, that she would see it as You see it, not as a mere mistake, but as rebellion against You. Grant her godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10), and restore her to a right relationship with You and Your people.

We pray for the pastor and the leadership of the church. Give them courage to act in accordance with Your Word, not fearing man but fearing You (Proverbs 9:10). Let them speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), confronting sin with gentleness but without compromise (Galatians 6:1). May they not be swayed by the spirit of this age, which calls evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20), but stand firm on the unchanging truth of Scripture.

Father, we also lift up the young boy. Protect his heart and mind from the corruption of sin. Let him see the beauty of holiness and the seriousness of Your commands. Surround him with godly influences who will point him to Christ. May he grow in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).

Lord, we ask that You would bring conviction where there is hardness of heart, repentance where there is rebellion, and restoration where there is brokenness. Let the church be a place of truth and grace, where sinners are called to repentance and the repentant are welcomed with open arms. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We encourage you to continue in prayer and fasting, as you have done, for this is a spiritual battle. Do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9), and trust that God is at work even when the response is not immediate. The Lord is not slow concerning His promises (2 Peter 3:9), and He will accomplish His purposes in His perfect timing. Stand firm on His Word, and do not compromise, for "the grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever" (Isaiah 40:8).

We hear how urgently you long for God’s order, for the protection of a little one, and for a soul to be turned back. That burden is heavy, and it’s clear you have not carried it casually; you’ve cried out with Scripture and action. Reaching out to the pastor was a courageous step of faith, not because he has all the answers, but because God often moves through those who tremble at His Word when a church must speak the truth in love.

In places where confrontation feels foreign, a pastor may need time to count the cost and seek the mind of Christ. Yet the Lord who gave Ezekiel a watchman’s heart can also give that pastor a steady, unhurried conviction that doesn’t flinch from a difficult conversation. While you wait, your steady prayers aren’t wasted; they are stones God is already using to prepare the ground. We would also gently encourage you to think of one or two concrete ways you can guard the boy’s spiritual eyes right now, perhaps quietly reinforcing what is right through simple conversations, or making sure he has other voices in the congregation who model Christ’s way. That isn’t replacing the church’s role; it is shepherding in the gap while you trust the slower work of discipline.

We join you in asking the Lord to help that pastor and the church to speak with the seriousness of Ezekiel, the gentleness of Galatians six, and the mercy that wants no one to be lost. Give them wisdom to know when and how to act, and a holy fear that rises above family ties. We also ask that the woman’s heart would not harden but be awakened by godly sorrow that leads to real change. Guard the boy from stumbling, and let him see what true repentance looks like when it comes. In Jesus’ name, amen.

There is a feverishness in your spirit that fears more the continuance of sin than it does the absence of quietness in your own soul. This is a right and noble jealousy, yet take heed lest it become a festering anxiety. The Lord knows the tangle of cords you describe, concern for the woman's soul, the protection of the child, the duty of the church, and the longing that the commands of God be honored above all. But your heart, though set on holy things, will find no rest until it casts itself wholly upon the finished work of Christ. The cure for sin is not our vigour in pursuing discipline, necessary as that is, it is to take, not to do. Take your dear Lord's wounds and trust them. The very sin you mourn has been laid on Him. It is not sham sin, but real sin that Jesus made an end of. Will you lay the whole mass, her sin, your fear for the boy, the weakness of the church, upon that great Sin Offering? Sin unknown, the sacrifice is unheeded, but sin confessed and carried to the Cross is sin slain. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin, and your first and best comfort is to know that before God, the transgression is covered with that princely crimson.

Yet your request is not mere grasping for comfort, but a cry for God's will, commands to be kept, souls converted, elders courageous. This is well. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Do not let the right desire become an idol of its own, a subtle law by which you measure grace. The believer is not under the Law, but under Grace, and only those who are under Grace produce true heart-service. When you pray for the pastor to be a flame of fire, remember that the fire which burns the stubble might also scorch the wheat if you demand results according to your own timetable. Your country's non-confrontational nature, the sin of Eli you fear, these are real. But the Lord who keeps His own from sin is able to govern the hearts of those shepherds. Cry to God that you yourself may be kept from vain thoughts, from a root of bitterness should your hopes be delayed. Pray for her, but let your intensity be mingled with the certainty that sin shall not have dominion over God's elect. If she is His, she will be recovered, though perhaps through the afflictions that sin usually brings in its train.

The child, ah, the little one not to stumble! Our Lord's words are a millstone of warning. But the same hand that keeps the stars in their courses is the hand that shields the lambs. It is not the boy's seeing sin that will alone cause him to stumble; it is if he sees it without seeing also the reality of a church that confronts it in tears, a parent who refuses to call evil good, and a God who is not mocked. Your very pleading is a safeguard to the lad, a watchman's cry that puts bloodguilt far from you. Therefore, stand fast in this: that the Lord who began a good work will complete it. Her soul, the boy's safety, the church's purity, these are more truly in the hand of the Intercessor at God's right hand than in the shaking hands of men. The repentance that saves is a rainbow formed of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ. Pray for that, and when you have prayed, believe that you have the petitions you desired. Sin may war, but it shall not reign. Go now, and let your soul be no more like a bird beating against wires, but like one set free, singing since its sin is gone.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You carry a heavy burden for the soul of this woman and the protection of the child, and rightly so. The Scriptures do not leave us without clear commands: if a brother or sister is caught in open sin, those who are spiritual must restore them in a spirit of gentleness, being careful themselves lest they also be tempted. Yet gentleness does not mean silence or compromise, it means a firm hand wrapped in mercy. You have done well to bring this matter to the shepherd of that flock, for God has set watchmen over His people, and they will give an account for the souls entrusted to them. To see sin and say nothing is to share in the bloodguilt, as Ezekiel thunders forth. The fear of the Lord is indeed the beginning of wisdom, and it is a holy fear that should drive a pastor to act, not with harshness born of pride, but with the trembling that accompanies a true handling of the word of life.

Do not be surprised if the correction takes time to bear fruit, or if the person at first resists. Our Lord Himself, when about to raise Lazarus, did not immediately march to the tomb. He wept, He groaned in spirit, He drew the crowd close, and only then did He perform the great sign. He measured His steps so that none would stumble, and that the miracle might lead many to believe. So too, the work of discipline must be done with discernment: public sin often requires public rebuke, but always with the aim of restoring the sinner, not destroying her. The goal is not merely to expel the evildoer but to win her soul, to rescue her from the snare of the devil, and to teach the little one that sin is deadly serious and must be fled.

Yet be on guard against a sorrow that looks like repentance but is not. Esau wept bitterly and sought the blessing with tears, yet found no place for repentance, because his grief was not hatred of his sin but regret over losing his advantage. True repentance is not merely weeping but a turning, a change of mind that produces a changed life. Do not settle for mere emotional display. Pray that her heart may be pierced with godly sorrow that leads to salvation without regret. And do not think that one who has fallen so deeply cannot be restored. The heavenly gift, once tasted, can be recovered, though not by a second baptism. Repentance opens the door afresh; it can reshape even the most deformed soul, as Paul travailed again until Christ was formed in the Galatians. Let no one despise the power of genuine turning.

You are right to pray for the pastor and the church, that they would tremble at God's Word and not place family affection above obedience. The sin of Eli, who honored his sons above the Lord, brought ruin on his house. A pastor who refuses to correct sin out of a false peace or cultural non-confrontation is no shepherd but a hireling. Keep lifting them before the throne, asking that God would fill them with a holy boldness intertwined with compassion.

As for the child, our Lord’s warning is severe: it would be better to have a millstone hung around one’s neck than to cause a little one to stumble. The boy must not be left to witness uncleanness as though it were normal. His tender conscience must be guarded, and he must learn that the commands of Christ are to be kept without compromise. Let your prayers and actions work to shield him from this present danger, and may his own heart be turned early to the fear of the Lord.

Continue in prayer and fasting; let your requests be made known with thanksgiving, and the peace of God will garrison your heart. Do not give way to despair or consume yourself with the timing of the outcome. The Lord hears the prayers that are according to His will, and His will is plainly revealed. Stand firm, speak the truth in love when opportunity comes, and leave the result in His sovereign hands. Your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Your burden for this situation reflects a heart aligning with the Lord’s own concern for holiness and for the vulnerable. You are right to refuse to treat reconciliation as an idol, for true peace is only found on the other side of genuine repentance, never by papering over what God calls destructive. The Scriptures you continually bring to mind are the very plumb line, and we must let them do their deep work.

I understand the weight you carry, especially as you see the danger not only to her soul but to the child who is watching. The Lord issues a firm warning against causing a little one to stumble, and that warning is given precisely because children absorb what they see. A life that normalizes compromise can soften a boy’s moral understanding for years to come. So your plea is not harshness; it is the proper reverence of God that hates evil and fears the damage sin inflicts.

What often paralyzes a church or a family is a loss of that reverential awe. The kind of fear that avoids confrontation is not the fear of the Lord. The true fear of the Lord is a love so deep that it trembles at the thought of hurting Him and abandons silence when a soul is veering toward judgment. When we love Him, we cannot stand by and watch sin slowly harden a heart. The call to go and restore, with gentleness yet with grave seriousness, is an act of love, not accusation.

The very ones who fear the Lord speak often to one another. This matter is now placed before a pastor who must decide whether that holy speaking will become holy action. The hope is not that he merely corresponds, but that he and the church will tremble at God’s Word enough to exercise the discipline that aims at repentance and life. The goal of it all is the converting of a soul and the guarding of a little one from a pit he did not dig. A congregation that follows the biblical pattern refuses to borrow the world’s methods of avoidance and sentimentality.

When sin is left unaddressed among those who claim Christ, it leavens the whole lump. That is why the apostles were so clear: such a lifestyle, unrepented of, excludes a person from the kingdom. The warning is not cruel; it is a merciful alarm bell, rung with tears and fasting. The Lord’s voice is powerful and breaks the cedars; may that voice break through the stubbornness and bring the kind of sorrow that leads to salvation. Until then, a church faithful to its Head must not let the definition of love be softened into mere tolerance.

We will stand with you in seeking God’s will, praying that the leadership acts with the humility that truly hears and trembles at His commands. The fear of the Lord that is the beginning of wisdom is the very thing that clears away confusion and lights the next step. A church that submits itself to Christ as the Head, moving not from cold obligation but from a desire to honor Him, will discover His wisdom in how to gently but firmly reprove.

Continue to bring this before the throne with thanksgiving, trusting the Lord hears the petition that is according to His will. He is not confused. His instructions are clear. The arm that delivered David from the lion and the bear is strong enough to rescue a soul and protect a child. Let the peace that passes understanding guard your heart as we wait, not passive, but expectant.
