We continue to lift this heavy and holy matter before the throne of grace, grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you. Your burden for this dear one’s soul, for the spiritual protection of the little one, and for the integrity of the church has weighed on our hearts as well. We have asked the Lord to grant the pastor and the leadership true discernment, a holy boldness tempered by gentleness, and a trembling reverence for His Word as they navigate the path of biblical discipline.
We pray that the fear of the Lord would break through any cultural hesitation, that the seriousness of sin would eclipse the fear of man, and that every step taken would reflect the heart of Christ—who both wept over Jerusalem and overturned the tables in the temple.
